Helen was studying at school when all of her female friends suddenly started finding boyfriends – either the same age or a bit older. Helen looked on them with envy – she wasn’t the prettiest girl, but she was ready for her first romance story as well. She was the only single girl left among her friends, and needless to say she felt really awkward when they went out and they all brought their dates with them.

But one day, Helen’s prayers were heard. She went to the mall alone, and while she was hanging around a guy came up to her to ask for her number. They chatted for a while; he was quite attractive and seemed to be a fairly interesting person to talk to. When she arrived home, he sent her a message, and they started chatting. They talked and talked for nearly the whole night through, and by 9 am when the time came to go to school, Helen realised that she was head over heels in love. When she finally saw him again, Helen felt her heart beat faster, and it became hard to breathe. Her love’s name was Joe, and he was 19. For Alice, it was pretty thrilling that he was so much older than she was, and yet his attention had fallen on her – and her alone. While they were drinking their coffee, Helen couldn’t take her eyes off him, while he seemed very interested in her life, asking lots of questions. At the end of their date he gave her a slight kiss. Gosh, Helen was now simply the happiest girl in the universe! She took a selfie with him so that she had material proof it wasn’t a dream.

The next day, Helen simply couldn’t keep these developments to herself. She went to school and revealed everything to her friends, showing them the selfie. They smiled in disbelief and asked if she was certain Joe wasn’t too old for her. She snorted – female envy is just so pathetic. Meanwhile, he kept texting her all the time. When she was in her classes and couldn’t respond straight away, he wrote her angry messages if she took too long. Oh, that’s so cute, she thought, he cares so much! When she arrived home, Helen boasted to her mom that she had found a boyfriend, and told her about him. Her mother frowned, looked at the selfie and frowned even more. “I disapprove”, she said, “he’s too old for you, and you’re going to have problems with him.” Helen ignored her, and her mom didn’t press the issue – she had always given her plenty of freedom.

And so Helen’s romance began without anyone’s approval, but that was just fine by her – because she had a new boyfriend called Joe who was genuinely interested in her. He kept messaging her and they met nearly every day. Unfortunately however, he refused to meet her friends, and told her that he didn’t want Helen to meet his. She agreed, because she thought that keeping their relationship half-secret was oh so romantic. Sometimes, he got a bit pushy with her. Apart from the fact that she was supposed to respond to his messages at once, he always forced Helen to meet him anytime he wanted – even if it wasn’t convenient for her. It happened pretty often, and she was starting to get a bit nervous about it. And she also didn’t like the way that sometimes when he gave her a lift home in the evening, he would get a little handsy. But she was so in love with him that she accepted it, even though didn’t feel comfortable about it.

But one day her eyes were opened. They were supposed to meet at 6 pm near the mall, but Helen arrived a little early. She saw Joe chatting happily with some other guys. She felt glad that he would have to finally introduce them to her and she would become his official girlfriend. As she walked over to them, Joe still hadn’t noticed her, and then she heard what he was saying. “You know, I got that 15-year-old idiot who is madly in love with me and she’s sure I’m her soulmate! She’s ready to do anything I want! You know what I mean?” – and they were all roaring with laughter. Helen froze. It was as if someone had punched her hard in the stomach. Her first thought was to leave, but then frustration and anger boiled up in her. She walked towards them and, facing Joe, told him he was a pathetic moron. She said: “You think you’re cool for taking advantage of a nice shy girl? At least I’ve been sincere all the time! And now look at how cool you are with a 15-year-old idiot shouting at you in front of everyone!” and with that, she left with her dignity intact. The last thing she saw was Joe’s face full of embarrassment and the amused expressions of his friends. Helen hoped he would remember that moment for a very long time.

Helen came home in tears and ran straight to her mom for support. She was a wise woman and told her she’d get over it, but also said she hoped Helen would learn her lesson. And indeed she did, and it proved to be a useful one for all the relationships that would come after. From that moment on, she was more attentive to what her partner really represented, and what her friends and family thought about him.

★ Subscribe ACTUALLY HAPPENED https://bit.ly/2J5HP7j This is Gina. Do you think it’s possible for a person to love you TOO MUCH? Well, this is EXACTLY what happened to her! She first saw Brad at school, and he was such a handsome boy with the prettiest smile she had ever seen. Every day, she would sit there hoping he would notice her, and then finally, it happened! He came over to her and asked if she was free that evening, and it was the happiest moment of her life. They went to the movies, and then for a walk in a park, and it was super romantic. Not long afterwards, they started to date, and the first few weeks were perfect – they saw each other every day, and he always told her how beautiful she was, and when they weren’t together he texted her all the time, telling her how much he loved and missed her. It was so sweet. But sometimes Gina was busy with school or seeing her friends, and during that time he would text her non-stop. One day she was doing her homework, and when she finished, she looked at her phone, and there were HUNDREDS of texts and missed calls. The first ones were like, “I love you” “I miss you,” but then it turned into things like “are you alright?” “where are you?” “why don’t you answer me?” She called Brad and said, “I’m sorry for not answering, I was busy with my homework.” He said “okay, but call me next time because I was worried.” It was quite sweet the first time, but then it happened again, and again. Each time when she wasn’t able to answer him right away, even if it was during a lesson, he started to panic. One time he even knocked on a classroom door and asked the teacher if she could come out. It was sooo embarrassing! Brad always wanted to be with Gina – like, ALL the time. He was visibly upset if she decided to spend some time with her friends instead of him. Honestly, it was kind of a turn off at this point; it’s hard to like a boy who doesn't give you any space. She told her friends about it, and they thought she was selfish because he clearly just loved her so much. Of course, they didn’t. They only got worse. He would wait for Gina to come out of class after each lesson and insisted on them always being together. At this point, even her friends realized that something was wrong. When she told him that she wanted to spend some time apart from him, he got mad and said “you don’t love me anymore!” She had to prove him wrong, so the only time she could be without him was when she was at home, and even then he still texted her constantly. The last straw for Gina was when she was talking to a boy named Johnny, a classmate, about the project they were doing together for school, and Brad came up to them, looked Johnny right in the eyes and said to him, “stop talking to her, she’s mine!” She tried to explain to Brad that he should calm down, that Johnny was just a classmate, but he wouldn’t listen and was trying to act all manly and “protect” her. Johnny got up and left, muttering “weirdo.” Gina was so embarrassed, and she said to Brad, “this is not okay, you behave like a stalker, can you please just stop!?” But he just answered: “I do it because I love you!” She didn’t know why Brad acted the way he did, but she no longer saw him as this cool, confident boy she had thought she knew before – her feelings towards him had changed. So later that day she said that she didn’t want to date him anymore. He begged her to reconsider and said he was sorry like a hundred times, and when she said “no” he got angry and implied that she liked Johnny, and that was why she was dumping him. Ugh! He texted her every day for two weeks, saying how much he missed her, and she explained over and over to him that she didn’t want to date anymore. For a few days he was silent, and she thought he must have moved on, but then… He called her and said “can you please look out your window?” She did, and saw a bunch of lit candles spelling out “I love you”. It was so awkward! She went outside and tried to explain him that he was a great guy, but she didn’t like this insane level of control. He was so upset, like he was holding back tears, and she felt so sorry for him. He said that she was his first girlfriend and he felt scared of losing her, and that’s why he acted the way he did, and he didn’t see what was happening until his older brother pointed it out to him. He asked if they could start again and promised that it would be better this time. Gina wanted to say “yes”, but she couldn’t, so she politely declined. And she felt so bad about it, like she was a bad person for refusing, but something inside of her said that all of it would just happen again. Gina thinks that a person shouldn’t be in a relationship if he or she is not comfortable in it, even if you feel sorry for someone. Brad is not a bad person, but he should have dealt with his insecurities before starting a relationship. Music by Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com

My Mom left our family when I was a little kid, so it was always just me and my Dad. He was always a good Father, but of course he was lonely, so at some point he met Helen. She was a sweet person, always attentive to my Father, but there was something off about her. You see, she would say that she was working in another city, and her work was like several days a week, and then she would work from home. Sometimes I would return home early and she wasn’t really working, more like... relaxing? But as soon as she would see me, she would make it look like she was really busy. It was very suspicious! Also she asked my Father to help her with money sometimes, because she needed it to “get back on track.” I became even more suspicious when I saw her in the city when she was supposed to be out of town. I decided against approaching her or telling my Dad, but instead I just watched her and gathered more evidence. Of course I took a photo of her hanging out in the city, but it wasn’t going to be enough. Basically, she was drinking with her friends, and my Dad definitely didn’t know anything about them. But she couldn’t possibly be doing this every time she was “away”! So I decided to track her down. I started following her, and it was very scary. After a while, she FINALLY went somewhere... with a man. I followed them to the house where they stayed, I wrote down the name of the building and went home. My Dad was very tired and a little bit sad. He was clearly missing Helen and I wanted to tell him right away, but it was too early. After a few days she came back. I cringed really hard when I saw them being so sweet to each other and she was acting like she was such a good partner to my Dad. Ughhhhhhhh. When she left “for work” again, I started to monitor the house she was in, and asked friends who were living nearby to do the same. Pretty soon, all of us had several photos of that man and my stepmother leaving together or separately, but it was clear that she was living there. I finally felt like I had enough evidence and it was time to tell my Dad. I approached him, asked him to sit down, and told him everything I knew. He started laughing, like, “Haha, you’re just imagining things, this sounds crazy!” But then I showed him the pictures and he wasn’t laughing anymore. In fact, he wasn’t saying anything. He was just staring at the photos. Then he put the phone down and hid his face with his hands, muttering, “No, no, no..." I didn’t know what to say, so I just hugged my Dad. I’ve never seen him so heartbroken. He really deserves better than her. And I thought this was the end of it. But it wasn’t. One day, when Helen was supposed to return home, my Dad took the day off. While I was at school, I was very anxious to get back home and see her gone from our house. Imagine my surprise when I returned and both of them were sitting on the couch, watching TV, hugging each other, and smiling. They didn’t notice me come in, so I said, “Dad, can we talk?” He looked at me, then at Helen, and we went to talk. I saw how Helen looked at me, it was the look of an evil witch. I asked my Dad what happened and why she was still here. He said that he wanted to throw Helen out and she started crying and said how difficult her life was and how she wanted to end it with the other guy, but she was too ashamed and she didn’t have a job or any money and that was the only way for her to survive. I rolled my eyes through the entire story and couldn’t believe how a person could lie so masterfully. But then my Dad dropped the bomb. They had decided to get MARRIED. Like, she would leave this other guy and my Dad would take care of her and they would be like proper family and NO MORE LYING. Yeah, riiiight. I tried to talk my Dad out of it, but he asked me to just give her another chance, and told me that he didn’t want to be alone again. I told my Dad that he didn’t need her, he was such a good guy, he could find someone better! But he was really in love with her. We couldn’t finish our conversation because Helen knocked and asked in a sweet voice what we wanted for dinner. I wanted her out of our house for dinner! Over the next few weeks I didn’t talk to either of them, but every time I was left alone with Helen, she tried to gain my trust. She would try to make me some delicious food or share some of her dresses (and I hated her dresses). But I didn’t believe her for one second! So no, I wasn’t going to give Helen another chance, no way. She still hadn’t even found a job! Music by Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com #actuallyhappened

SEND IT TO [email protected] IT WILL BE GIVEN A VOICE OVER BY A PROFESSIONAL ACTOR AND AN ANIMATOR WILL MAKE A VIDEO OUT OF IT! ★ Subscribe ACTUALLY HAPPENED https://bit.ly/2J5HP7j My name is Kiera. We all are aware of the great impact that the internet has had on our lives nowadays. It has changed my life dramatically as well. I wanna tell you now about the most awful truth that was revealed to me on the internet. I was born into a family of two amazing historians and archaeologists, who were really into their work. We've always lived out of suitcases and trunks because my parents took part in excavations all over the world. It was amazing to move from one ancient cultural place to another and to learn about new people, their culture, their language, and their history. Of course it was hard to get used to a new home, school, and lifestyle, and deep inside I hoped we would settle somewhere one day. And besides, I never had those normal things that most kids my age had and used every day. We never had a TV or the internet. In some places we couldn't even use our phones because there was no service, but it never actually bothered me much. I always used to think that I had a very happy childhood. But everything changed one day. We lived in a small village in India, and my parents were working day and night. They would leave early in the morning and come back home very late. Once my mother came back alone. She looked really worried and nervous and she told to me that my dad had set off on an extremely important business trip and that she would have to join him soon, and that I couldn't go with them. I was going to be staying with my grandparents. She said we were leaving immediately and that I had to go pack as quickly as I could. Shock didn't even begin to describe it all. Nothing like that had ever happened before. We flew out on a red-eye to Austin, the city where my grandma and grandpa lived. Sure, I was excited to see my grandparents, but even though my mom had tried to persuade me that everything was OK, I still had some worries. I had a wonderful time at grandma and grandpa's, but my mom literally left the same day that we had arrived. She promised that they would come for me in two weeks, but it never happened. My grandparents told me that mom and dad had to work on something really important and they would be coming a little later than they had expected. And also my grandma said that my parents' business trip was not a reason for me to lie around all day. She told me that my parents had wanted me to go to boarding school. That was really frightening! I have never gone to a big, modern school in a big American city! But I tried to persuade myself that it was just going to be a new gripping experience. So, I waved goodbye and set off for boarding school. It turned out to be so unusual and strange at first. The school was enormous and there were electronic displays everywhere. All my classmates were always staring at their phones or discussing subjects that I couldn't even have a conversation about. I would often hear giggles behind my back when I tried to study on the computer in the library or when I asked some stupid questions about the things that are pretty common in the modern world. I wished they would ask about African tribal customs or ask me to speak Mandarin Chinese. The only person I managed to make friends with was Olivia, my roommate. She was so amazed by the fact that I'd spent my whole life away from the civilized world. She would ask me questions all night long, to the point that we both were sleepy before our lessons the next day. But she also tried to get me involved in everything that was going on at school and to make me more... modern. She helped me with all the devices and told me which was more important – she even taught me how to use the internet. My parents have always been pretty conservative and told me that there was nothing special about it. They encouraged me to read books instead. But I felt like a completely new world had opened up for me. I could look up any information there to learn anything that I wanted. I started to spend a lot of time on the internet, I made new friends, and became part of my school community. Time was going by, but I still had not heard from my parents. I never even spoke to Olivia about them until it was time for our holiday break. She told me she was going to spend her holidays in the mountains with her parents and asked me: “Where are you going, Kiera? Where are your mom and dad going to take you this time?" I burst into tears and told her the whole story. But Olivia didn't seem to be discouraged. She said: "Come on, we've got the internet! If your parents are famous archaeologists, we can easily find them! Let's look it up there!" So, we went to the library and started the search. And it didn't take long. My Father Forced Me To Date
My Father Forced Me To Date

by ACTUALLY HAP...

★ Subscribe ACTUALLY HAPPENED https://bit.ly/2J5HP7j Hello, this is Olivia. She’s 17 now, and a year ago, her father tried to force her into dating a boy. How could something like this happen in the 21st century? Listen to her story and find out. Her father was a businessman, and he usually spent most of his time either doing his job or thinking about it. He wasn’t a bad father, just...a busy one. He was passionate about his job, which allowed his family to live comfortably and to have everything they needed or wanted. Olivia’s father was quite old-school in his views on family roles, so his mother was a classic housewife, who’s only job was to keep their house in order and cook their meals. In fact, she didn’t really need to do that, because they were always able to afford hired help, but her mother insisted. And her father was happy with that, because everything was, as he used to say, “as it should be”. Olivia was, of course, extremely grateful to him for everything that he did, and understood that they wouldn’t be able to live as well without him. So of course, she always tried to give something back, by helping her mother for example. She also wanted to become successful in her own right, like by being a good student, rather than just be a lazy person who lives off her parents’ money. Her father had a friend who was in the same line of business as he was, and while they weren’t openly competing, it was clear that there was an unspoken rivalry between them. Her dad didn’t like that, and wanted to somehow unite both businesses, but it proved to be a difficult task, because his friend didn’t really want to work together. So her father had an “ingenious” idea: if Olivia married his friend’s son, Stanley, then all of them would become one big family, and Stanley could become the boss for both companies and unite them. The whole thing sounded insane, especially the fact that her father assumed that she couldn’t one day become a businesswoman herself simply because she was a girl. Instead, he would constantly talk about how wonderful Stanley was – he was an athlete, a straight A student, with a great sense of humor. It was extremely awkward – and for Stanley, too. He was a great guy, but she wasn’t interested in him, and he wasn’t interested in her. In a way, they understood each other because they both didn’t like each other in that way. After he tried to bring them together a few times and failed, she thought he would calm down, but no. He was a businessman, and he didn’t like to accept failure, so he started to talk about it with her mom, so that she would try to persuade her that it was a good idea. She tried to explain to them that it just didn’t work like that – it wasn’t just that she didn’t want to date Stanley, he wasn’t too keen on the idea either. Besides, Olivia didn’t even know what his father thought about all of it, or whether he noticed it at all. During the summer, her dad prepared his final plan. He bought them all tickets for a holiday at a prestigious resort, and then he was like “oh, a lot of work has piled up, but we can’t waste the ticket, so let’s invite Stanley instead!” He probably thought that a resort would create a romantic situation, and they would suddenly fall in love, like in romantic comedies. By now Olivia was fed up with it all, and she decided to talk with Stanley. He said he didn’t even want to go to the resort and he had recently found a girlfriend, so all of it was just weird. All of this sounds very bizarre and even insane, right? Well, her dad had always been a bit eccentric, but this – this was just crazy! Stanley said that if she was bothered by it, he could talk with his father and tell him what was happening. She wasn’t sure that she wanted to ruin her dad’s friendship that could yet lead to the partnership he wanted, so she said no, let’s not do that just yet. Instead, she told her dad that she didn’t want to go to a resort and that she would rather spend her summer working. She explained to him that she wanted to become successful, and she was ready to work for it. She wanted to prove to him that he didn’t need this partnership or Stanley to make his business more successful, because she would work hard to help him herself in the future, and getting a job now would be the first step towards that. He was furious. He accused her of trying to ruin everything, and that his plans would make them richer than ever. At that point Olivia gave up on trying to persuade her father round to her point of view, and she exclaimed angrily: “I’m not a tool for your business, I’m a person!” They went to the resort, and she started working. Olivia no longer cares if her parents continue to act that way. If she needs to work while studying at university, she’s confident that she’ll be able to do it. It’s better to live by your own rules and have a hard life than be someone else’s tool for making money.

My Friend Nearly Killed Me When We Played Truth Or Dare

★ DO YOU WANT TO GET YOUR STORY ANIMATED? SEND IT TO [email protected] IT WILL BE GIVEN A VOICE OVER BY A PROFESSIONAL ACTOR AND AN ANIMATOR WILL MAKE A VIDEO OUT OF IT! ★ Subscribe ACTUALLY HAPPENED https://bit.ly/2J5HP7j Hi, this is Michelle, and this story literally happened yesterday. There’s so much to talk about from last night that she’s not really sure where to start. In brief, she was betrayed by her best friend and she almost died, and both these things happened within fifteen minutes of each other. It all started as a truth or dare game. Michelle has a group of friends that she’s known since they were all about five years old. There are six of them, all girls, and they’re fourteen now. Actually, a couple of them have already turned fifteen. She won’t bother going through all their names, since she would have to change them anyway to tell this story, but the important thing is that out of all of them her best friend is called Lana. Though she should probably say she HAD a best friend. Anyway, Michelle and Lana live close to each other, so they’ve always seen each other more often than the others. Over the years, they’ve grown really close, so basically she knows a lot about Michelle and vice versa…or so Michelle thought. Bear in mind also that Michelle is a really, really private person, and she hates telling people personal things, although Lana was an exception. And there are a lot of things about her that even she doesn’t know either. But nevermind about all that – let’s stick to the story. Last night, they had a sleepover at Lana’s. Her parents are away on vacation, and they have no problem leaving the whole house to Lana to look after. She’s never caused them any trouble when they’ve gone away in the past, but Michelle can only imagine the looks on their faces when they come back and hear what just happened. So five of them came over to Lana's for the sleepover, because one of their friends – let’s call her Judy – got sick. It wasn’t the first time they spent the night at Lana’s, and Michelle herself went over to hang out even more often than the others, since she only lives like, two houses away. So last night, they first decided to watch a movie, then they cooked dinner together – two of their friends love cooking. After that they decided that they wanted to play something, and someone suggested “Truth or Dare,” the classic sleepover game. As a very private person, Michelle really hates this game, because she has to pick dare all the time. The idea of telling any secret, even to a group of close friends, is just terrifying for her. It was okay at the start – there was nothing but harmless questions and easy tasks. Like singing a stupid song, or calling Judy to convince her Ed Sheeran was at the house with them on a surprise visit…it sure sounds dumb now, but shemanaged to sound dead serious, and Judy almost believed her! But the girls spoiled everything when they started laughing, they just couldn’t keep it in anymore. One thing though, before she moves on to the main part of the story. Lana and Michelle have a classmate called Josh. Josh Hurley, that’s what she’ll call him here. And…thank god this is anonymous…she really, really likes him. He’s justamazing. And he lives right across the street from Lana. They talk at school every once in a while, but it never goes further than that. Michelle believes it really could go further, but he doesn’t know anything about how she feels. No one does – except for Lana. So there they were playing, and it was Michelle’s turn again, and of course she picked dare rather than truth. The girls were struggling to come up with a task for her, but after a few minutes Lana said that she had a great idea. She said that Michelle had to get on the roof of her house and shout “I LOVE YOU JOSH HURLEY!” three times, as loud as she could. Michelle still can’t believe she said it. Lana knew that she liked Josh, and she knew there was a big chance he’d hear about it sooner or later, and she knew just how embarrassed Michelle wouldbe if she told anyone else. But at that moment she simply thought: a game is a game, let’s just get it over with. She climbed onto the roof through the bedroom window, and found a spot that looked like it was safe. It was almost midnight, so it was really dark. The girls were all standing at the window ready to film the whole thing. Just to remind you, the phrase she had to say was “I love you, Josh Hurley.” She shouted it once, dying of embarrassment, then a second time. All of the lights in Josh’s house were off, so she was praying nobody was home. Because if they were, the whole family was going to be woken up by her yelling. The girls were laughing and cheering. She really wanted it to be over, so she took a deep breath and shouted it out for a third time. Music by Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com

I LIVE IN A HAUNTED HOUSE SCARY GHOST FOLLOWED ME
I LIVE IN A HAUNTED HOUSE SCARY GHOST FOLLOWED ME

by ACTUALLY HAP...

Story By Layla | Subscribe our channel: https://bit.ly/2J5HP7j This is Layla. When she tells people that she’s lived in a haunted house, the most common reaction she encounters is “Wow, cool”. Well, guys, she’s here to tell you why she wouldn’t call the experience “cool” at all. Layla has a friend, Sarah. They’ve been together since early childhood; they studied at school together, and after school they went to the same university. The thing is, the university was in another city and they had to move there before the semester started. They didn’t want to move in to the dormitory, so they looked for a small two-bedroom apartment. There was always something that wasn’t right with the apartments they were offered, and soon they became pretty desperate. Then all of a sudden they came across this house – a two-storey old house almost in the center of the city, but in a quiet district. And what was even more attractive was that its price was negligible. Layla and Sarah couldn’t believe how lucky they were. When they were moving in, they were greeted by nice people – their neighbours. One of them, smiling, gave them a strange look and asked if there were any special reason why they had chosen the house. They laughed in a silly way and thought nothing of it. Looking back on it, Layla thinks they should really have asked for an explanation, but at the time they couldn’t wait to move in and just thanked him for the warm welcome. The entrance to the house was in a spot that wasn’t visible from the main road. When they went up to the stairs, they saw a nice old woman with a paper bag in her hands. “Hello girls! My name is Ms. Hopkins. I want to welcome you to our neighborhood. I’ve brought you my famous apple pie for lunch. I guess you’re far away from your parents and haven’t had time to cook yet”. They thanked her cordially, and since they were going in themselves, they decided to invite her in for a coffee. But when they turned back to her, she was already gone. Well, they had a lot to do and decided that they would ask the neighbors about where she lived later on. So, they were independent for the first time in their lives. They were ecstatic. The only thing that irritated them a bit was that they didn’t manage to get a good night’s sleep, but they decided it was the result of first semester nerves. On the bright side, a couple of times a week they would find a new package with a pie inside from Ms. Hopkins on the doorstep. Soon, they were becoming a bit too busy to think much about Ms. Hopkins. Meanwhile, their sleep problems were becoming pretty overwhelming. Often, Layla would wake up in the middle of the night covered in a cold sweat after having a nightmare. When she went to the kitchen to get herself a glass of water, she would find Sarah there with black circles under her eyes, looking close to tears. This sounds like something trivial, but you try not getting a good night’s sleep for a couple of months and you would struggle too. What’s worse was that they were starting to hallucinate because of sleep deprivation. Sometimes, one of them would go into an empty room and pick up the scent of someone’s perfume. Layla often felt a cold draught even when all the windows were closed. Once when Layla was in the bathroom, she saw the handle of the locked door move slightly, as if someone was trying to open it. She yelled “Sarah, I’m in here!” and...then she heard Sarah’s voice from downstairs: “What did you say?” Layla felt goose bumps march across her body. If Sarah was there, who was trying to open the door? It took her half an hour to come out of the bathroom, with pure terror in her eyes. They decided that it was time to look for a new home, above all because they still couldn’t sleep there, and the lack of sleep added to their anxiety when they noticed those small things happening inside the house. In the morning, she and Sarah went to the neighbour who had greeted them on the first day with the strange question to get some answers. Layla asked him straightaway: “Where can we meet Ms. Hopkins?” He looked at them with a strange expression, and answered “There’s no one called Ms. Hopkins in the neighbourhood. Why do you ask?” They were shocked. “But we met her the first day we came!” “You must be mistaken. Ms. Hopkins used to live in your house, but she died several years ago after getting sick. She was famous for her baking, by the way.” Absolutely speechless, Layla and Sarah emerged from the neighbor’s house and walked slowly towards their own. As they were going up the stairs, they saw another paper package with an item from Ms. Hopkins’s bakery. Layla was so horrified that she could hardly take those couple of steps towards it. There was a handwritten note with it that said “Girls, come visit me some time”. At that point, they rushed into the house and packed their things in a total panic. It took them three minutes to pack everything they needed.

My Parents Divorced And Made Me Choose
My Parents Divorced And Made Me Choose

Story By Ruth | Subscribe Our Channel: https://bit.ly/2J5HP7j This is Ruth. Her story is kind of sad, because it's about how her parents recently got divorced. Ruth’s parents were married for 20 years, and at least in her eyes they’d always seemed like the ideal couple. It’s true that they were pretty different, but she thought it was that classic case when two people complete each other just like two pieces of a puzzle. Her dad is a big, quiet man, always ready to give a kind smile to anyone. Her mom is the exact opposite – a firework of a person. She’s always talking or doing something, laughing noisily and having arguments with people. So, what did they have in common? RUTH. She was an only child and they both adored her. Some time after her 15th birthday, Ruth’s parents said they needed to talk to her. She hated that “We need to talk” stuff, and straight away felt pretty nervous. Her bad feeling was correct, as she soon heard that phrase every child dreads: “We decided that we need to divorce. You’re grown up and we hope you understand us.” Well, she acted very considerately, and didn’t ask a thing about what had happened. But one thing bothered her above all. How come she’d never notices they weren’t getting along anymore? All of a sudden their life became a real hell. They started the divorce process like two civilized people, and kept it up like that when dividing their assets...until it came to the most precious thing – their daughter. Both her mom and dad wanted her to live with them, and was determined to stand their ground. “Mom? Dad? I’m a person, not a thing! Maybe you could ask me what I want?” Ruth thought. Now Ruth had always known she would need to grow up one day, but didn’t expect that it would have to happen so soon. The three of them were still living together, but it was no longer their nice cozy home anymore. Ruth noticed one thing in particular that was worrying her a lot. Her mom was trying to win her affection in any way possible. She started buying her expensive stuff and took her out to spas and restaurants, and generally started acting more like her best friend than her mother. It was nice, but didn’t give her a good feeling. The worst thing was that when they were alone she always tried to convince Ruth that her father was a weak person or that he was too busy to give her attention, and plenty of other not very nice things. Whereas her dad was acting like he’d already lost – he was there always looking sad, eating his dinners all alone and staring at her like a kicked dog. Right before the court date, Ruth accidentally overheard something super-painful. Her mom and dad were having a private conversation, and she heard her mother say: “If you claim that you can’t take care of Ruth, I’ll let you see her freely anytime you want; otherwise I’ll accuse you of being violent and will do everything I can to limit your time with her. Do as I say, because you know that she'll choose me anyway!” Ruth felt like she’d been struck by lightning. Her eyes were opened at once to just how manipulative her mom was. And this blackmail was horrible! She heard her dad give in to her mom just so he would have the opportunity to see her. She was overwhelmed, and at that moment made her decision. The next day, to everyone’s shock, she said that she wanted to live with her dad. Her mom looked like she’d been slapped in the face, and her dad burst into tears right there in front of everyone. Afterwards, Ruth stayed on to live with her dad, and once her mom had left she felt bitter inside. With their “friendship” over, she called Ruth from time to time just to tell her what an ungrateful traitor she was. Ruth didn’t know how to answer her. Ruth was convinced that she had done nothing wrong, though. Whereas her dad was now totally happy, always caring, always asking for her opinion and giving her nice treats. She now had lots of freedom, which was really handy for a 15-year-old girl. Ruth wanted to go overnight to a music festival, and her dad on this occasion stood firm and said that he wouldn’t let her go because she was too young. She cried and yelled but he said it wasn’t up for negotiation. Desperate to go, she suddenly shouted at him: “You know what? If you don’t let me go, I’ll call mom and ask her to let me live with her!” That kicked dog expression appeared once more on her dad's face; he just said “Ok. Do whatever you like,” and left the room in silence. Ruth stood there unable to believe how much she’d just screwed up. She felt so ashamed! At that moment, she realised how much she had inherited her mother’s personality traits. She had that same trait of being a shameless manipulator that Ruth detested her for. But soon she also realised that she could understand her mother a little better now: she had manipulated Ruth and blackmailed her dad because she had been desperate, and she did it for something way more serious than her daughter’s petty teenage whims.

Someone Stole My Phone And Started To Post Terrible Things
Someone Stole My Phone And Started To Post Terrible Things

SUBSCRIBE ACTUALLY HAPPENED: https://bit.ly/2J5HP7j This is Trish. We all love our phones, but sometimes they can completely ruin our lives. This is what almost happened to her. Trish was always busy with a lot of things at once - like school projects, learning a musical instrument, and many other things besides. She's proud of how active she is, but it has its downsides as well - quite often, Trish would forget stuff because her mind was constantly focusing on multiple things; she'd always be either day-dreaming or planning. This is the reason why this whole story came to be in the first place. It was a regular day at school, but then Trish remembered she had a doctor’s appointment. She rushed from school to make it in time. And then she realized that she had forgotten her phone! She couldn’t go back, so she just thought that someone would probably find it and would give it to a teacher or something. After visiting the doctor, she went to her guitar lesson. By this point, she had completely forgotten about her phone - and that was a huge mistake. When she got home, she found out that something terrible had happened while she was away. Someone had taken her phone and posted horrible things about other people from her social media accounts. It's worth repeating that for emphasis - these were really HORRIBLE things. Like, insulting posts about people from her school, their personal information, and even their secrets. Secrets she didn’t even know about! Trish quickly deleted all the posts and changed her passwords, but it was too late. The damage was done. She just couldn’t understand why anyone would do something like that to her. It’s not like she had enemies. She now felt horrible, like she was cornered in an aquarium full of sharks. It was painful to even think about what was going to happen the next day. She tried to sleep, but she didn’t have much success. She slept for barely two hours when her alarm rang. She had to get up and go to school. Things were even worse than she had imagined. As Trish walked down the corridor, people stared at her. She could feel their eyes on her. The only way to describe this feeling was that it was like she was getting smaller while everyone else suddenly got much bigger. One or two people even shouted something at her, and she couldn’t even respond properly. As the day went on, nobody talked to her, and well, she just couldn’t make herself talk to them either. At the end of the day, she found her phone in her bag. The person who stole it had put it back at some point. Maybe she should have felt better, but she didn’t. It just made things worse. When she got home, Trish burst into tears. She cried until she felt exhausted, and then she felt a bit better. She started to think about the situation as a whole, and how to deal with it. She thought that maybe she would be able to find the person who had done this to her. Before deleting the posts, she'd taken screenshots of some of them, just in case - she wasn't really sure why. But it turned out to be the right decision in the long run. She started to look through them, trying to analyze the writing style. If someone had put her phone back in her bag, it meant that it was one of her classmates, because she hadn't really left the classroom during the day - she'd been trying to hide from the other kids staring at her. She noticed that the person who'd done it had used a very peculiar emoji, one that nobody else used very often. It was one of the girls from her class, Katie. It was weird because she was a very quiet and nice girl who would never even look at the person she was talking to. She decided to confront Katie the next day in the morning, and ask why she did it. So, the time came, and after their first lesson, Trish approached her and asked her if she'd done it. Her eyes widened, she couldn’t say anything for a few seconds, and then she muttered “sorry.” Just saying “sorry” wasn’t enough, so Trish continued to ask her questions. Katie just looked at her shoes, not saying anything, and then started to sob. She told Trish that she had problems at home and wanted to take her anger and disappointment out on someone else, and that she was sorry she did it and that Trish didn’t deserve it. Trish asked her to tell the teacher and the other kids. Katie was hesitant at first, but then agreed. Several months have passed since that happened, and you'll be surprised to learn that Trish is now friends with Katie. She revealed the truth to everyone, and people hated her for it, but although Trish felt angry, she also understood that Katie was crying out for help in her own perverse way. She told Trish what was happening at home, and well, she shouldn’t reveal it here, but it wasn’t good. She felt alone, just like Trish did during those terrible few days. My Mom Woke Up From A Coma And It’s Terrifying

Like this video if you want your Mom to live forever. ★ Subscribe My Channel: https://bit.ly/2J5HP7j This is Alice. She really wants to share her story, because she needs to know that she’s not alone. A year ago she was a happy girl, and her biggest problem was backtalking at school. Now she so wishes that she could turn back the clock and tell herself that life was great! She’s only 13, and she’s so tired… It all started one day when she was at school, in her English class. The headmaster came in and asked her to leave the room. He looked very worried, and Alice immediately felt nervous. When they sat down in his office, he urged her to sit down and told her that something bad had happened in her family. Her mom had been on her way to the school to take Alice home, and got caught up in a bad car crash. It was really, really bad, he said. Be strong, Alice, he said, she was alive but at the hospital, and the doctors were evaluating how serious her injuries were. Now she had to stay at the school until her dad came to take her home. Alice didn’t cry; she was in some kind of nervous shock. He gave her some water and called in the school psychologist, who tried to talk to her but Alice stayed silent. She didn’t talk even when her dad came in for her and took her home. There was only one thought in her head: “Dear God, if you exist, make my mom live and be healthy and I’ll be a good girl forever”. Then some very shocking news came from the hospital – her mom was in a coma, and she had very serious brain damage. All they could do was pray that she woke up. This situation lasted for quite a long time – several weeks at least. Both Alice and her dad lived a robotic routine – waking up, having breakfast, going about their business, going home, watching TV, going back to sleep. Alice had only that one thought, and couldn’t concentrate on anything else. She felt as though she was physically ageing as the days went by; she was so tired of waiting, and felt that if she looked into the mirror she’d see someone with white hair and their first wrinkles. When the news came, Alice didn’t know how to accept it. She finally woke up, that was the good news. But the bad thing was that she had suffered grave brain damage, meaning that she could no longer talk or react to people, or even recognize anyone. They called it a vegetative state, but actually it’s a “vegetable” state – all the individual can really do is breathe, and not much else. The feeling for Alice was one of pure horror. She went to see her mom quite often, but whenever she looked at her all she saw was a shell of a person, not her actual mother. She fantasised about her coming back, but the doctors said no one knew how she would react to the treatment. The doctors and nurses, as well as Alice and her dad themselves, did absolutely anything they could to wake her up. She spent long hours reading stories to her, hoping that something would penetrate. And finally, on one glorious day, Alice noticed that as she was reading, her mother’s eyes moved in her direction as if she could hear her. It was a miracle! She ran out of the ward shouting with happiness. The doctors said it was good news because it meant that some of her damaged brain cells were being restored, and from that moment on they could start active rehabilitation. They also performed a brain scan and confirmed that there were regions in her brain that were now reacting to stimuli. Alice and her dad arranged a party to celebrate. It may seem foolish, but Alice was sure that her mom would get better in no time at all now that her brain had woken up. They attended physical rehab, where nurses moved her limbs here and there, and she underwent some strange electro-therapies or something like that. In fact, her treatment lasted round the clock. She did respond, but she still couldn’t talk, didn’t recognize her family, didn’t react. And suddenly, all the hope Alice had felt left her. She realized that her mom wouldn’t be coming back. To this day, she remembers the exact moment when this realisation came to her – she took her to a room with a projector and showed her their family videos. And as Alice was watching the old clips of them all happy – and her looking healthy – on the screen, it was the first time since the accident had happened that she started crying, and she gripped her mom’s hand. So that’s why Alice feels so tired. Of course, she’s never lost hope. And she never will. But one part of her knows that her mom will never be the same again, and this understanding tears her up inside. She sometimes imagines that her mom has just gone away for a vacation to some beautiful island, and is still enjoying her life. Alice just wishes that she could be there with her. It would also be nice if you could subscribe to the channel and share her story, so that maybe someone who has had a similar experience could share it with her.
