Hey, I’m Neil, and a little while ago, I was accused of stealing money in school. I was completely innocent, but nobody believed me.

I got in trouble a lot, and teachers knew that, and, well, they didn’t like me that much. They even called my parents pretty often, but my parents didn’t really care. It was also pretty hard to make friends, and a lot of other people thought I was weird, but nobody ever said anything to me face to face, because they were afraid of me. Thankfully, I had had one friend since I was a kid. His name is Matt and we've been friends since the first grade.

One day, our teacher called me into her office and told me “Okay, Neil, I know the truth. Tell me where they are.” I was like, “What are you talking about?” and she kept looking at me with this serious look. After a long and awkward silence she told me “I know you took our school trip money from the table. If you return it, you won’t be in trouble, I promise.

I didn’t know what to say. Basically, the class below us was collecting money for a trip, and apparently our teacher was keeping it on her table, and one day it disappeared. I got very angry because of the accusation and raised my voice saying, “I didn’t take the money, I never touched it!” My teacher sighed and said, “We all know that it was you, Neil. Who else could it be?” I answered, “It could be anyone, because you weren’t smart enough to not keep it out on your table!”
After this, I stormed out of the classroom. I thought that was the end of it, and this teacher wouldn’t bother me anymore, but it was far from over. That was only the beginning.

The next day, I was called into the principal’s office. I went there, and to my surprise, the principal was waiting for me along with two teachers, and one of them was the same one that accused me of stealing the money. I was very angry and started to talk with them aggressively, but they were answering in a very calm manner. Too calm.

They were saying that they know that I did it, and it was okay, because I have problems at home and need money, they tried to act “understanding,” but I kept saying that it wasn’t me, that I didn’t even touch the money, and they kept pushing it. I asked if they had any evidence besides my “reputation,” and they said that several people said they saw me take the money.

This kept going on and on, every day they would invite me in and keep asking me the same questions and I would deny everything, and basically they would make me stay longer after school and even check my backpack. But NOBODY would believe me, because everybody in school knew the rumor that I stole the money and everybody... believed it.

And to be honest, I was ready to confess. That would be easier than sitting in a small room with three adults who were taking hours of their life to prove that I was a thief and secretly hating me. They said that if I wouldn’t confess, they would have no choice but to expel me.

I went home that day, preparing to say that I had done it the next day. But thankfully, Matt was patiently waiting for me so we could walk home together.

I told him everything and he said that I shouldn’t confess, and I said that they would expel me if I didn’t. Matt laughed and said “No they won’t, they are just bluffing to make you say it. They would call the police if they had any real evidence. They just need someone to blame, and I know that you didn’t take the money.” I asked Matt what I should do then, and he said “Not YOU, what WE should do.”
So basically, he had some kind of a plan. Matt was smarter than me in that sense. He said that we should look closely at the class that was younger than us, the one that was planning the trip. One of them probably took the money and maybe we would notice something.

So we started to “spy” on them, trying to notice anything that was out of the ordinary. We thought it would be hard and time-consuming, but actually, we found the truth in one day.

One kid had a brand new Nintendo Switch. Yeah, maybe his parents bought it for him, but it was more than a coincidence that he had just gotten it and he was showing it off to everyone, surrounding himself with bunch of other guys. And, to boot, the price of it was around the same as the amount of money that was stolen.

I got very angry and was on my way straight to him. Matt stopped me and said that we should be smart about it, to make him confess.

I know I have to introduce myself first here, but unfortunately I can’t. You’ll learn why in the next few minutes. More than that, there are plenty of details in this story that will have to remain secret for safety reasons. I should probably not even tell the story in the first place, but it has all been so hard over the last few weeks, that I just need to get it off my chest. Flashback – two years ago. I’m a regular 14-year-old with no bigger problem than stress at school or being bored on the weekends. I have several really good friends, no enemies, and a great family. It’s just my parents and I. I’ve always known that my dad had something to do with finance, economics and, well... stuff like that. I wasn't that interested, to be honest, I thought it was a regular day job, like most of the other dads have. So I didn't get too suspicious when a couple of men in suits appeared at our house to talk with my dad, who seemed puzzled. But it was hard not to notice that something was wrong when the next time they came… they took my dad with them. Again, I’m sorry I can’t get into details, but the story was that my dad, who had never been any kind of gangster or anything, was involved in a crime. So that night he was basically arrested. He came back pretty soon afterward, because, as I learned later, he had agreed to help in an investigation and… he was now a witness. And apparently he was in danger. I never asked about who these people were that could put us in danger, because I didn’t really wanna know much about what my dad was up to. It’s all over now, and that’s the only thing that matters. Long story short, our family was going to be a part of the witness protection program. And that was when the nightmare started. The first part of us getting into it was not that exciting. We stayed at our house, but there was always a police car outside for our safety. I couldn’t really walk anywhere on my own anymore – I was taken to school and then back home, and basically stayed inside for the rest of the day. I could still visit my friends every once in a while, but I had to keep my mouth shut about the program of course. So, life got more stressful, but compared to what was waiting ahead, it was all no big deal. I did not know it at that time, but while this was happening, things were being prepared to move us to a different part of the country. So imagine how shocked I was to learn one morning that I had to pack my things (only the essentials) because we were leaving that same night! I guess the officials advised my parents to not tell me anything in case I would not be able to keep it a secret. Anyway, at 2 in the morning we got into a van and never looked back. The driver was a man I did not know, who kept silent the whole time, and our coordinator was also with us, in the front seat. We drove for the whole night and then for the next day rarely making any stops. Finally we arrived to a town I had never even heard of before. The house was ready for us, and you could tell that everything was hastily arranged. Everything we needed for life was there but… it was not "home" at all. It was a living space. But it was still okay. I was so exhausted I didn’t care, all I needed was a shower and a bed. And over the next couple of days, I learned how our life was going to change. I… I don’t even know where to start. What we got was basically a new life. We were allowed to keep our first names, but we got a new last name, my dad got a job as an accountant at a fairly small, local company, and I got a place at a new school. Now we had to learn the legend about why we moved to this part of the country, where we used to live, and what my family had done for all these years. And while this was all a little exciting, it was also frightening. It took me several weeks to get used to my new last name, and a couple of times I almost said the old one out loud in class. One of the last things our coordinator told me (he instructed each of us personally) was that the danger was so serious, everyone in our hometown had to think we were dead. So we had to cut all of our ties with friends and relatives. Now, that part was a total shock. A little later I learned that there was even a news story about the three of us dying in a car crash. And local police confirmed it. That meant A LOT of things, but the most shocking one to me was that all my friends now basically thought I was dead, and that I could never (literally - never) see them, text them, or talk to them again. I Know How To Make Lots Of Money When You Are 12
I Know How To Make Lots Of Money When You Are 12

★ DO YOU WANT TO GET YOUR STORY ANIMATED? SEND IT TO [email protected] IT WILL BE GIVEN A VOICE OVER BY A PROFESSIONAL ACTOR AND AN ANIMATOR WILL MAKE A VIDEO OUT OF IT! ★ Subscribe ACTUALLY HAPPENED https://bit.ly/2J5HP7j This is Alan! You know what’s cooler than having a ton of money? Knowing how to make even more. And Alan knows how! You probably straight away think that he must be full of himself, so let him tell you his story. He’s 17 now, but this all happened when he was 12. So, Alan’s family is not very well off. They’re so poor that he wore the same shoes for an entire year, no matter whether it was raining or snowing. But those were good shoes; like, very durable ones. Like, they were the Iron Man of shoes – nothing could destroy them. They were much better than his brother’s, which made his feet hurt sometimes. But still, Alan’s shoes were veeery ugly, and he really wanted new ones. He dreamed of getting these sneakers that he’d seen once in a store. You may think that this was shallow – but remember that he was only 12 at the time. And in any case there was no way he could act on his wish to buy those shoes. He didn’t have any money! So you might think that he eventually gave up on the idea...but nope, not really. He started thinking that if he could just find a way of somehow making money, he could buy those shoes. And they weren’t cheap… His dad was always saying that he should study harder than he himself had, so that he could have a better life, and both Alan and his younger brother really took that advice to heart. He was a really diligent student and spent so much time studying. He got good grades but had no money, whereas plenty of his classmates got bad grades but had a lot of money. So Alan made them an offer – he would do their homework in exchange for money. Not a lot of money, but enough to save up and buy those sneakers after a couple of months. It was a pretty easy task for him, because basically, all he had to do was copy out his homework for them, changing it just a little so that nobody would know. He even had different prices for As, Bs, and other grades. And he also helped the older kids a little with some of their subjects – not like, math, but literature and history. Alan’s scheme went great at first, but then almost everybody stopped paying. He wondered why, and it turned out that they had made one guy pay and then copied his homework. He had to find a way to fix this, so he told them that if they were going do that, he would have to raise the price. They didn’t like that, but they also didn’t want to do their own homework, so they agreed and everything went back to normal. But then one of the guys wasn’t happy about it, and he actually revealed everything to the teacher. The teacher was very angry with Alan, and warned him that he had to stop doing it or else he and the other guys would have a lot of problems. So, he had to stop...but he still hadn't saved up enough to buy the sneakers he wanted. So of course, he came up with a new plan. Because many of the older kids now knew who he was, and their teachers didn’t know about his tricks, he asked them to give him cool stuff in exchange for their homework. You know – like toys, action figures, simple gadgets. He would then start playing with them in class, making it look like he was having a lot of fun. To be honest, it WAS fun. And, if someone asked him if they could play with something, he would say no, which made them want it more and more. Then at some point he would rent it to them or even sell it. Soon, he was buying stuff from the older kids and selling it for more money, instead of doing their homework. But of course, sooner or later their parents started to notice, and the teacher got angry with him again, saying that he was abusing the other children and it wasn’t okay. He disagreed, because they were very happy with all of it and henever like, forced them to buy anything. Eventually, he finally had enough money to buy the sneakers he had dreamed of for so long. So Alan bought them and went home. Finally, all his hard work had paid off, and even if he had found himself in a lot of trouble, he still ended up with what he wanted. Then he saw his brother’s shoes – they were in a way worse state than his, and he remembered how many times his brother had told him how much his feet hurt, and he was constantly sick because his shoes had a lot of holes in them and got wet every time he stepped in a puddle. So he gave the sneakers to his brother, and he was so happy and surprised. Honestly, it was much better to see his brother happy than to keep them for himself. His parents were angry at him at first, because they thought he had stolen them, but he then explained how he got them. And then they were proud of him because they thought he had done it all for his brother. He didn’t tell them that it had originally all been for himself, though. SEND IT TO [email protected] IT WILL BE GIVEN A VOICE OVER BY A PROFESSIONAL ACTOR AND AN ANIMATOR WILL MAKE A VIDEO OUT OF IT! ★ Subscribe ACTUALLY HAPPENED https://bit.ly/2J5HP7j Hi, guys. My name is Daniel. Here`s what I want to talk about. My dad went missing for almost a year and I feel guilty about it. I`ll start from the very beginning. My dad was the most positive person on earth. For as long as I can remember, he was always glowing with happiness. But everything changed after one incident about a year ago. He didn't come home from work one night. At first, my mom and I thought that everything was ok. But he still hadn't shown up at nine o'clock that evening. That's when we began to call our friends and his colleagues. No one knew where dad could be. Then mom found dad's boss's phone number, and we called him. He surprised us a lot when he said that that day, my dad didn't show up at work, and didn't answer his phone calls. It was then that we really began to worry. What's happening? Where was he all day? We called the police, and two officers came to us and started asking us questions about my father. Soon afterward they found him. He was in the hospital, so my mother and I rushed there. When we got to the hospital and finally saw him, he was asleep. He was covered in scratches and bruises, there were pieces of glass in his clothes, and his shirt sleeve was almost torn off. The doctors said that he had a concussion and could have some sort of short-term memory loss. But everything else was fine. Officers said they found him outside the city. Looks like he was driving at a high speed, lost control, and his car ended up in a ditch. He was very lucky that he survived this accident. We spent the whole night in the hospital and when dad woke up we asked him what happened. And his answer shocked us: he said that he flew off the road because he was hit by another car. It was a serious allegation, so the police started an investigation. They came to our house a few times and asked a lot of questions. About a month later, they sent us a letter with their expert’s conclusion. According to this letter, the car didn`t have any traces of paint from another vehicle. To put it simply – no one had rammed my father's car. Dad was angry, he complained about the police inaction, and insisted that he was telling the truth. But my mom was upset. She believed the police and thought that my dad was lying and hiding something. Besides, where was he all day? Why didn't he go to work? To these questions he replied that he just didn't remember. So my parents sometimes fought about it. And I didn't know who was right. But I knew that dad was acting weird. He always covered the windows with curtains, his phone was often turned off. It seemed like… he was afraid of something, but he wouldn`t say what. In general, the atmosphere in the house was strange. But then something happened that really scared me. I was home after school doing my homework when I heard the front door slam loudly. I went down and saw my father. He looked scared – he had huge eyes and could barely breathe. When he caught his breath he finally said: "I saw her again, that car!" Then he ran up to the table and began to write something on a piece of paper. He tried to remember the car`s license plate number, but he couldn't. Dad was really worked up. He nervously walked around the house saying that mom will finally believe him now. But she didn't. After all, there was no evidence. So they just bickered again. And I can understand mom. Her husband is acting strange, obviously hiding something. Of course, she didn`t believe his words. Since then, dad has spent a lot of time on the computer. He was googling something, printing some articles. In the garage he hung up a board, where he attached various photos and documents. He even installed security cameras around the house! Apparently, he was determined to prove to me and my mom that he was right. It looked more like paranoia, but this is my dad – he always goes all out. And so we lived like this for two months. In the evenings, dad sat in the garage and watched the video from the cameras. I kept hoping dad would admit that he was wrong, or finally tell us why he didn`t go to work that day. Music by Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com #actuallyhappened

★ DO YOU WANT TO GET YOUR STORY ANIMATED? SEND IT TO [email protected] IT WILL BE GIVEN A VOICE OVER BY A PROFESSIONAL ACTOR AND AN ANIMATOR WILL MAKE A VIDEO OUT OF IT! ★ Subscribe ACTUALLY HAPPENED https://bit.ly/2J5HP7j Hi everybody! My name is Gordon, I'm 17 years old and for a year already I've had a girlfriend. Well, I HAD a girlfriend. I would like to tell you why I broke up with her. I liked Emma very much. She was so fragile, so modest, so beautiful. Most modern girls aim to be in no way inferior to guys but Emma was pure meekness. She always let me choose which movie to watch or which meal to order. And she never argued with me. I always felt very strong and masculine when I was with her. But as time passed, I started to find these particular qualities pretty annoying. Maybe I just didn't appreciate how lucky I was, but I got bored because she always agreed with me. The only thing that she was painfully strict about was time when she had to be at home. She was petrified by the very idea that she could come home after eight P.M.. Once, we were stuck in traffic on our way back from the movies and she sobbed violently all the way home, and she didn't want to explain to me why she could not simply call home and explain that she would be like fifteen minutes late! At first I thought that her parents were very strict, but then I met them at a picnic and they seemed very nice! Emma’s mother was still very beautiful, and Emma looked and acted a lot like her, very quiet and polite. I doubt she has ever scolded anyone. Emma’s father, Mark, made a great impression on me! Very bright, witty, self-confident, and charismatic.I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I even tried to compare him to my own father… and my old man totally lost. So, I had taken a lot pictures on the day of the picnic and the day after my mother and I went to visit her sister – my aunt. I've loved aunt Mary since my childhood and I always tell her in detail about everything that is going on in my life. So she knew that I had a girlfriend and now I told aunt Mary that I had finally met Emma’s family and showed her the photos from yesterday’s picnic. Aunt Mary couldn't wait to see the pictures, until she saw Emma’s father in one of them. She broke off and it seemed like her hand was shaking. “Do you know what his name is?” she asked in a strange, empty voice. And when I answered: “Of course! It's Mark!” she jumped up and ran out of the room. My mother followed her and I was left alone in the room, totally clueless. Soon my mother came back, looking very serious. “She'll be alright,” she said, answering my silent question and then added: “But you have to know something. A while ago your aunt knew Mark very well. And it was the most terrible story of her life. And my mom told me that Mary and Mark used to go out together – a long time ago, before I was even born. In the beginning everything was fine and aunt Mary was head over hills in love with this brilliant, macho guy. But soon she realized that Mark was trying to control her more and more. He decided what she should wear, which girls she should be friends with, and even which books she should read. And when she tried to object, he became more and more aggressive. …When he hit her for the first time, she was ready to leave him. But he didn't want to let her go. He became so nice again and asked for her forgiveness promising that everything would change. But nothing changed. As soon as Mary thought that everything was back to normal, Mark started to tighten his grip. And everything turned out bad again, Mary tried to leave him, he wouldn't let her go, and the story repeated again. And again. And again. At the end, Mary no longer understood what was going on and what she felt toward Mark – whether she loved him or whether she was afraid of him. She kept telling her parents that everything was great and that they were going to get married. Until her older sister, my mother, noticed the bruises on her hands and demanded that she tell her the truth. My mother helped aunt Mary to get rid of her abuser, they went to the police, and Mary got a court order to keep Mark away from her. But Mary never got over this relationship. Neither pills nor psychologists could help her. Since then she has been afraid of being in a relationship and has stayed single forever. I was shocked. And as we went home, I was thinking about Emma, her mother… and Mark. I started to realize that he has not changed at all. I remembered that Emma’s mother was wearing a long-sleeved shirt - probably to hide the bruises from her husband’s hands? I remembered how both she and her daughter meekly agreed with him. I also remembered how Emma was scared of being home late, even like by a minute... she was scared to death! I have to confess that when I went out with Emma the next time… I conducted a cruel experiment. Music by Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com #actuallyhappened

★ DO YOU WANT TO GET YOUR STORY ANIMATED? SEND IT TO [email protected] IT WILL BE GIVEN A VOICE OVER BY A PROFESSIONAL ACTOR AND AN ANIMATOR WILL MAKE A VIDEO OUT OF IT! ★ Subscribe ACTUALLY HAPPENED https://bit.ly/2J5HP7j Hi, I’m Lucy, and I’ve created an anonymous blog where I reveal the secrets of people from my school. I just wanted revenge on the girls that huffed me, but it quickly got out of control… Let's start with a little bit of background: I was 15, wearing braces, and had HORRIBLE acne on my face. Not a big deal, right? Yeah, right, but the older, popular girls were CONSTANTLY mocking me for it. They would even laugh at me when I passed by them in school, and it hurt because they were pretty and everyone liked them. I told my older sister, Ashley, what was going on. We went to the same school and she said not to worry, because those girls had awkward secrets and they only made those jokes because they were insecure. She told me all about them – one of them once made a very awkward video of herself covering a song, and it was so disastrous that she eventually deleted it, but some people (including my sister) still had it in their “possession. It was pretty awkward, but not super bad. But another girl, on the other hand…turned out to be CONSTANLY lying about herself. Like, she would say her hair was naturally red, but it wasn’t true, and she would say that her parents were rich but they weren’t, and she would tell all of these crazy stories about her life, while in reality she was living a very ordinary life. Once she even came up with a story that some man assaulted her but she ran away, and she was describing it in detail, but it was 100% made up. My sister was also watching this pretty old show called “Gossip Girl” where a girl creates an anonymous blog where she revealed rumors and horrible truths about the other characters. So, naturally, I came up with a plan. I created an anonymous blog where I made several posts about those girls. I would write them in a very snarky and sarcastic manner. I even found that infamous video of the girl singing. I shared it in our school Facebook group, and the results were GLORIOUS. It turned out that a lot of people disliked these girls because they were so full of themselves, and it was really awesome to see how everyone reacted. Now, everyone was giggling and whispering about those girls and not about me. And the girls... they were extremely angry about it. Basically, I felt like a hero. The right thing to do was to abandon this blog right away, but… I wanted MORE. Besides, other students started texting me different secrets about people. So I kept on doing this blog, posting stuff about people who deserved to be exposed. And then I would walk through school like a queen, although nobody knew it was me. But soon... I started to post almost anything "juicy," even about people who clearly didn’t deserve to be exposed or talked about in school. And the popularity of my blog rose, so it was affecting people more than when I began. Most of it was innocent enough, but sometimes I exposed secret relationships some people had, and those posts were by far the most popular, but it often damaged the reputations of some good people. I wasn’t a hero anymore, I was a villain! And the consequences finally came. I got a message, "I know who you are.“ It was terrifying. I started to look around, trying to find someone who was looking at me... a little differently. I was extremely paranoid and was sure that a lot people were looking at me... weirdly. Besides, teachers finally found out about my blog. I even decided to make a post about myself to remove any suspicions around me, but I couldn’t do it in time, because something else happened... Later that evening, when I was at home, someone threw a stone through our window and broke it. My Dad and Mom were mad, thinking some vandals did it. But I knew that wasn’t true. And my sister also realized what was happening. She came to my room and asked if I was the gossip girl and if it was someone "getting revenge." I knew that I couldn’t lie, so I said "yes." Ashley said that I should immediately stop doing this blog and confess to my parents. I promised that I would stop doing the blog, but I didn’t want to tell my parents, but she said that if I wouldn’t confess myself, she would do it instead. So I caved in and told my parents everything... They were mad and grounded me, limiting my access to the internet. And with that I thought that it was finally over, but it wasn’t... A week after I ended my "career,“ my classmate Joe came up to me with a smile and said, "I’m glad you stopped doing this.“ I was shocked! I asked how he knew, he giggled and said, "I didn’t, I was watching you and you kinda changed right after this blog started. I wrote you a message to see how you would react, and you completely changed after you received it.“ Music by Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com #actuallyhappened

Recently I had to choose between who goes to prison: my dad or my brother. But I`m 13 years old, how can I even make that choice? We lived a normal life, but when I was 10 years old, my mother died, and our family changed a lot. We mourned her for a very long time... Dad was falling apart and couldn't deal with her death, so he started drinking. And then everything went wrong. He was fired from his job and was barely making any money. And almost all the money he did make, he spent on alcohol. It was terrible when he got drunk. His mood was like a roller coaster. At first he would cry, then scream and get angry. Then my brother Bruce took on the role of father in our family. He always protected and cared for me. For three years we struggled with misfortune, but things got better. We talked a lot with my dad, and he started drinking less. Bruce turned 18 and found a good paying job. We had hope for a normal future. But in one night, everything got turned upside down. One day on a weekend, dad got us a surprise. He had bought tickets to a baseball game! Hurray! We were going to spend the day like a normal family. Dad took us to the stadium and we watched the game. Bruce and I were so happy! But it couldn't have been that good. Dad ended up meeting his friends and left us to watch the game with them. We agreed to meet near the car in two hours. But when the game ended, our dad never came. We tried to call him, but he just wouldn't answer. We stood by the car for over an hour and he finally showed up. He could barely stand on his own two feet! Apparently, he had gotten drunk with his friends. It really pissed Bruce off, and ruined his evening. He took dad's keys and said he'd drive us himself. We got in the car and drove off. But dad was aggressive, he kept telling Bruce how to drive, and it was really annoying him. They were fighting and yelling at each other. I didn't want to hear it, so I just closed my eyes and put my hands over my ears. But then it felt like the car jumped, and when I opened my eyes, the last thing I saw was the windshield breaking. When I woke up, I didn't know where I was. I raised my head and saw my brother. He was sitting next to me, covered in scratches and bruises. I was immediately frightened, but he calmed me down. He said everything was fine. We had been in an accident, but we`re lucky because we were almost unharmed. I exhaled. Then I asked where our dad was. Bruce said he was fine, he's just in the other room. But then I remembered their fight and I said, "We crashed because he distracted you, right?." This question made my brother think for a moment. Then he said, "Listen, Chris. The police came... They asked about the accident, and I told them that our father was driving, not me." Then my brother said he might have a problem with it, but that it would be better for all of us if the police thought that my father was driving. Maybe he will be forced to go into rehab or something. There was something strange about this proposal, but I believed my brother and decided to support him. After this conversation, Bruce was relieved. He said we could go home in the morning, and that I needed to sleep. But I couldn't sleep. I was worried I'd have to lie and I tried to calm myself down. I wanted a water, and I couldn't find it in my room, so I went out into the hallway. I have to say, hospital corridors at night look just like they do in horror movies, and you don't expect anything good from them. I kept looking for someone to ask for water, but there was no one around. I walked down the hall to the end, and when I turned the corner, I saw a little girl crying at the entrance to someone's room. I went to her and I wanted to calm her down, but she wouldn't stop crying. I asked her what happened and she said her dad was biking home from work, and he got hit by a car, and now he's in a coma. I figured out that it was us right away. We were the ones who hit him! What's more, my brother was driving, and he's trying to hide it! This changed everything. It was not just an accident, this was a crime, and Bruce was trying to set our father up! Yeah, he's a drunk, and my brother was only driving because of him, but he's not guilty! I ran back to the room and I woke Bruce up. I started yelling, "Bruce, we didn't just have an accident, you hit a man! Dad is going to jail, do you understand? You have to confess everything!" I started arguing with my brother. He said, "You want me to go to jail? I know it's bad, but think about it, who's gonna take care of you? Dad?" Then I said that it didn't matter.
