Time travel is complicated. Doctor Strange teased at the potential of these issues in his solo movie, but the big ol’ can of time-traveling worms was just opened up in a huge way thanks to Endgame. While the linear focus was on the journey of our Avengers and ultimately defeating Thanos, we cannot help but think about the splintered timeline that was created in Marvel universe.

Along with Loki’s new timeline and Steve Rogers hopping aboard his own personal timeline, there’s one more we cannot stop thinking about -- the 2014 timeline that Thanos, Nebula, and Gamora all abandoned to travel to 2023.

Their actions inadvertently created a whole new timeline with some pretty dire consequences for the whole universe. Let’s dive in and see exactly how. You would think a timeline without Thanos existing would be a safer place -- well maybe for Earth initially, but for the rest of the universe -- not so much. In Avengers Endgame, when the 2014 version of Thanos travels through time and doesn’t return, he creates an alternate timeline where himself, Gamora, and Nebula no longer exist. This splintered timeline is full of possibilities, but also has some dire consequences including a threat that even the Avengers wouldn’t be able to stop. In this period, which we’ll refer to as Earth-2014 just for the heck of it, the whole universe would be destroyed all thanks to Ego. Exactly how would this happen? Let's break things down and give a little shoutout to Reddit user LjGor for creating the theory.

Doctor Strange 2 Theories Every Marvel Fan Should Know
Doctor Strange 2 Theories Every Marvel Fan Should Know

Do you think these Doctor Strange 2 theories could turn out to be true? Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant The future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is completely open now that Avengers: Endgame has brought to a close the Infinity Saga (excluding Spider-Man: Far From Home of course, that is set to serve as a sort of epilogue of sorts). Which means that basically everyone is starting to speculate about what is coming next. While Disney and Marvel have been pretty tight lipped about things for now, we know of at least a handful of films that are about as certain to happen as they can get. Sure, Marvel hasn’t yet announced them, but come on, we know they are happening. Black Widow, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Black Panther 2, and the subject of this video, Doctor Strange 2. Yep, after teaming up with the Avengers and giving away the Time Stone, Doctor Strange is back and ready to whip up some magical fun. But what exactly is in store this time around? Well, sit back, relax, and we’ll show you! A little over a month ago, a twitter account belonging to someone with inside knowledge of the behind-the-scenes going ons at Marvel put out a small bit of info about the Doctor Strange sequel, which has had people thinking and theorizing for a while. In this video, we discuss one of our theories about the as-of-yet unannounced film, and how it could bring Strange, Jericho Drumm, Clea, and even the Ancient One back, in order to face off against the biggest of evil bad guys, Dormammu. Lines In Endgame That Are More Important Than You Realized
Lines In Endgame That Are More Important Than You Realized

by Looper

With allusions to previous MCU movies and references to comics that haven't made their way to the big screen, Avengers: Endgame reminds Marvel fans that the people behind the camera are just as enthusiastic as the ones filling the seats. Here are some lines in Avengers: Endgame that were more important than you may have realized. If you saw Avengers: Endgame in a packed theater, then the moment Thor's hammer Mjolnir flies into Captain America's hand probably inspired one of the loudest and most enthusiastic responses from the audience. If not, then it's at least met with enthusiasm from Thor himself, who yells "I knew it!" as he spots Cap threatening Thanos with the legendary weapon. So what did Thor mean by "I knew it?" In an early scene in 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor gives the rest of the team permission to try to lift Mjolnir. Thor sits back, confident none of his mere mortal teammates will prove worthy to wield the hammer… until Steve Rogers gives it a shot. That brief nudge, and past comic book stories in which Cap has proven worthy of Mjolnir, left some fans theorizing that Cap could've lifted the hammer but chose not to in order to spare his teammate any humiliation. Apparently, the Odinson was one of those fans. When Thor yells "I knew it!" he betrays that he thought Cap was faking way back in 2015 as well. And how couldn't he? Cap's as worthy as they come. Star Wars Secrets This Is How Palpatine Is Alive In Episode IX
Star Wars Secrets This Is How Palpatine Is Alive In Episode IX

by Screen Rant

Subscribe to our channel for more awesome videos: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant The trailer for Star Wars Episode IX dropped at Celebration Chicago and gave us a whole bunch of things to theorize over. The biggest of course, aside from it being title The Rise of Skywalker, is that the trailer ended with the haunting cackle of Emperor Palpatine. If you weren’t sure about it being Palpatine, Celebration made sure you knew by having actor Ian McDiarmid show up on stage after the trailer rolled, cementing the fact that yes, the Dark Lord of the Sith and puppet master of the first six saga films is somehow back. But how, if he seemingly died at the end of Return of the Jedi? Well, there are a few possibilities for this. The most likely is that the franchise is pulling from the prequel trilogy, specifically the scene where Palpatine tells Anakin about the tragedy of Darth Plageuis the Wise. That’s the tale that told of a Sith Master who was able to cheat death. Perhaps Palpatine really did learn this secret. Another one comes courtesy of the Darth Vader comic, which tells us that some dark side users can haunt certain artifacts and effectively cheat death this way. Seeing as how the Second Death Star showed up in the teaser, this could be the site of Palpatine’s spirit. Another possibility concerns time travelling, and this stems from the World Between Worlds shown in Star Wars Rebels. No matter how it’s done, one thing is for certain: Emperor Palpatine is back and that will certainly be bad news for our heroes. The Entire MCU Timeline Explained
The Entire MCU Timeline Explained

by Looper

The massive scope of the MCU has allowed Marvel Studios to create a sprawling, interconnected universe built on a shared continuity, and much like the comics the movies are based on, that means things can get pretty complicated. The Marvel Cinematic Universe doesn't start with Tony Stark getting kidnapped in 2008, Carol Danvers being taken to Hala in the '90s, or even with Steve Rogers volunteering for the Super Soldier program in the '40s. Instead, like most universes, this one starts at the Big Bang. Going chronologically, the first event we see in the MCU is the creation of the Infinity Stones. As the Collector explains in Guardians of the Galaxy, they were formed from the "six singularities" that caused the universe to explode into existence, before being scattered across the universe. That, of course, was billions of years ago, but "millions of years" before we get to the present-day MCU, Ego the Living Planet comes into existence and starts seeding worlds with his essence in an attempt to create another Celestial being like himself. While some of them are totally outlandish and borderline absurd, there are actually some that hold weight. We have curated a list of our twenty five favourite Pixar theories that we believe might actually be true. We’ll be looking at conspiracy theorist Jon Negroni theory that suggests that every single Pixar movie is interconnected starting with Pixar’s very first movie Toy Story and up until now. Negroni explains how in Brave animals took on human characteristics when the queen turns into a bear, and over the course of time animal intelligence grew and they were able to walk, talk and dress themselves. In addition, we’ll be covering which characters are related (spoiler, it has to two with a man who only wears loin clothes and two chilling sisters) as well as what lies beneath the hood of the characters in Cars. We’ll discuss how powerful emotions and memories are in the Pixar universe and dive into some darker theories that suggest some characters are not what they seem.
