Here are 15 of Disney's worst sequels of all time! Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

Sequels, when successful, are a fantastic way to give audiences more of what they want AND things they never expected. Done correctly, a sequel can enrich its predecessor’s story and characters and allow audiences to spend more time in the world they love. When done incorrectly, though, things can get a little messy. Scratch that: things can get REALLY messy.

Disney knows a thing or two about how to make a quick buck and they took full-advantage of this knowledge with a slew of direct-to-video sequels to some of their most beloved classics. But the downside of trying to make easy money is the inevitable dip in quality that follows. So many of these Disney sequels ended up failing in one way or another, mostly in terms of quality.

Some of these Disney sequels take the route of serving as a prequel. Examples like The Fox and the Hound 2, Belle’s Enchanted Christmas and Bambi II. Others are misguided from the get-go, such as Cinderella III, which features time travel as a prominent plot device. Some were just retreads of the same plot and character arcs, such as The Little Mermaid II and Return to Neverland, while others like Mulan II and Pocahontas II completely destroyed their characters’ essences. Even the live action attempts like Tron Legacy and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides ended up being underwhelming.

Let’s take a deep dive into all these Disney sequels to determine what went wrong and whether or not there were any steps that could have been taken to improve the final products.

Subscribe to ScreenRant: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant Since the creation of Reddit, fans have had the opportunity to discuss their own personal theories on films to no end and with total reckless abandon. While some of them are totally outlandish and borderline absurd, there are actually some that hold weight. We have curated a list of our twenty five favourite Pixar theories that we believe might actually be true. We’ll be looking at conspiracy theorist Jon Negroni theory that suggests that every single Pixar movie is interconnected starting with Pixar’s very first movie Toy Story and up until now. Negroni explains how in Brave animals took on human characteristics when the queen turns into a bear, and over the course of time animal intelligence grew and they were able to walk, talk and dress themselves. In addition, we’ll be covering which characters are related (spoiler, it has to two with a man who only wears loin clothes and two chilling sisters) as well as what lies beneath the hood of the characters in Cars. We’ll discuss how powerful emotions and memories are in the Pixar universe and dive into some darker theories that suggest some characters are not what they seem. Thankfully, changes made to animations can be done right within the computer. Back in the day, creating animations requires thousands of hand drawings by dedicated animators that were great at their craft. For Disney, they tried to eliminate a lot of this work by reusing animations from other films and drawing over it with new character designs. Beauty and the Beast was nominated for an Academy Award, but one of the climatic moments in the movie actually featured footage from another Disney classic. Robin Hood is a great re-telling of the classic tale, but the film is filled with scene after scene of stolen animation. Alice in Wonderland featured a unique world of characters, but scenes were pulled directly from Pinocchio and Bambi. The Rescuer’s Down Under was a sequel released more than ten years after the original, but the creators still managed to reuse a lot of the same footage. If the animals in The Jungle Book look familiar, it’s probably because a lot of the wolves are simply repainted Dalmatians. Winnie the Pooh borrows scenes not only from their own movies, but also The Jungle Book. The Sword in the Stone stole from more than five different films including Bambi. The Fox and the Hound is an emotional movie, but some of those scenes were taken from Bambi and The Sword in the Stone. The Princess & The Frog is one of Disney’s newest animations, but it features a copied sequence that may be both an homage to the original and stolen animation. The 101 Dalmatians is one of Disney’s older films, but it still stole small scenes from both Peter Pan and Cinderella. 25 Things Only Adults Notice In Nickelodeon Shows
25 Things Only Adults Notice In Nickelodeon Shows

by Screen Rant

Sometimes we look back on Nickelodeon shows and wonder how we missed these moments as kids. Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant What made kids shows so great was how clever the writing often was. In fact, in many of them, there was some seriously adult jokes tucked away in the scripts that made the shows even funnier once the kids grew up or for the parents watching with their kids. Nickelodeon’s shows featured some of the best adult humour around and we’re amazed that some of them made it past the censors. Case in point, literally anything put on screen from Rocko’s Modern Life or Ren and Stimpy. Seriously, we could have made a whole video out of those two shows alone and it wouldn’t have mattered. But thankfully, we diversified and there’s more to see from there. Even the most innocent of shows, like Doug, have their moments. Hey Arnold can be seen talking about trying sausages and experiences at Woodstock while the Rugrats tackled everything from “the snip” to dirty VHS tapes. Actually, Rugrats All Grown Up and the Movie carried on that tradition of adult jokes. Alone time jokes made their way into Fairly Odd Parents, as does Spongebob Squarepants, who got it’s fair share of sly humour. Sometimes, the writing is more clever and you may not even get the joke as an adult. Case in point, the Animaniacs. It’s not all animation though, iCarly made the list as well with some interesting literature. It is amazing that many of these moments made their way into cartoons as some of them are actually pretty explicit and adult. Why Pixars Toy Story 4 Looks So Different From The Original
Why Pixars Toy Story 4 Looks So Different From The Original

Here is the evolution of Pixar's animations over the years! Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant Floating balloons. Swimming clownfish. The Land of the Dead. The world of Pixar has created all kinds of visuals ingrained in the minds of people from multiple generations. And it all began with a toy. Toy Story was a revolutionary film in 1995, not only ushering in the era of CG animation, but launching Pixar into the stratosphere and changing the world of cinema forever. As Toy Story 4 sets even more animation landmarks - both in terms of box office and quality, it’s a great time to take a look back and showcase how much Pixar’s animation has evolved and changed over the years. Yes, it’s 2019 and we’re still enjoying another Toy Story movie 24 years after the original, but it took a lot to get here, and following the journey includes a look back at animation changes, story overhauls, and some other huge franchises Pixar has launched through the years. It’s easy to take the original Toy Story for granted -- the movie is just one of many in Pixar’s impressive catalogue. Over the years, the movie was probably stacked among other Disney DVDs and Blu-Rays, added as a part of the digital movie library, or just a typical Saturday morning re-run on TV. When Toy Story premiered back in 1995, it literally had everything going for it. The film was a feature-length CG movie -- something no one had seen before. But not only were the effects good for the time, but the story and emotion was there as well. Woody and Buzz became household names, a sequel was announced shortly after and the whole Toy Story franchise was born with toys filling up aisles, shorts playing on ABC, and children dressing up as multiple characters.
