I Ditched My Dad For My Biological Celebrity Father

❀ Thank you for your constant support and engagement! We have received many stories and are working on animating them! ❀ A PROFESSIONAL Voice Actor will record your story! We do everything to keep your identity private, unless you wish differently! Hi, my name’s Raven. I live with my mom, Flora, my dad, Michael, and my little sister, Cassie. I’m a musician, and that’s always made me feel like kind of a black sheep in my super athletic family. My dad, Michael, is the high school gym teacher, my mother is a former tennis pro, my sister is the point guard…and then there’s me. I’m different, but I’ve always felt like I still belonged. That is, until the day we moved. Mom hauled out a rickety chest, and what was inside brought smiles to all of our faces: Boxes of childhood photos. It was a really sweet moment, looking at all the things we had done together… but realized most of the photos were at sporting events. I was even crying in some of them. What was in the bottom of the chest took my breath away. My birth certificate. But something was… off. ‘Aaron’ was written in one of the rows. A name I’d never heard. I reached down for it and my mom slammed the chest shut. What was she hiding? Later that night, when everyone was asleep, I tiptoed up the staircase into the attic. Every step up the stairs I felt like I was doing something wrong. My parents loved me, they would never hide anything from me. I tried to talk myself out of opening the chest. Finally, I opened the lid. When I found Aaron on the birth certificate, my whole world came crashing down. It felt like my head was spinning. ‘Aaron Leighton’ was listed as my father. But… my dad’s name wasn’t Aaron. My last name wasn’t even Leighton! The man I thought was my father wasn’t. A light flicked on behind me, and my parents stood in the doorway of the attic. Tears were welling in my mother’s eyes. “We were going to tell you.” She said. The man who raised me put his arms out to hug me… but I shoved him away. I snapped: “You’re not my father, don’t touch me.” Tears streamed down his face, tears I had never seen before. But I felt such betrayal, such a rage burning in me that I couldn’t have cared less. “It’s no wonder I’m not like you guys. I’m not even his.” My mom tried to tell me I was no different than Cassie, that I was their daughter regardless of my blood… but I couldn’t bare to listen. If they had lied about my dad, what else were they prepared to lie about? I blew past them and slammed the door to my bedroom, locking it. I pulled up my laptop and typed a name into social media: Aaron Leighton. He looked EXACTLY like me. And the best of all? He was a musician, like me! His photos showed him rocking out on guitar, fearless and confident. It was no wonder I felt like a black sheep. I wasn’t like this family… I was like him. Like my real dad. He had a post talking about a show he had in town the next night. The idea of finally meeting him is what lulled me to sleep. The next day I didn’t look at my mom or my dad when I came down later for lunch. Had my mom cheated on my dad with my biological father? Did they know about each other? I begged silently that Aaron would answer the questions, because the idea of talking to anyone else about it made me sick. I slammed the door without saying a word and hurried onto a bus to go downtown for the show. I daydreamed the entire way about meeting my real dad. Had he missed me? Would he look at me and just know? Did my mom even tell him about me? I nestled into the crowd at a grimy venue, waiting for him to take the stage. Finally, he stepped out, just like I imagined. He was like a rock God on stage. He even had some of the same mannerisms I did! I felt myself buzzing as I watched him play the full set. We could be a father daughter band! He could teach me all the things my parents couldn’t. When the set ended, I hovered by the edge of the stage. He finally made eye contact with me… and I didn’t know what to do. I fumbled for my birth certificate in my pocket and handed it to him, shaking. He gave a sad smile at the birth certificate, then at me. “I knew this day would come, Raven.” He said. But his voice was…disappointed? Wasn’t he excited to see me?

My name is Daniel. Here`s what I want to talk about. My dad went missing for almost a year and I feel guilty about it. I`ll start from the very beginning. My dad was the most positive person on earth. For as long as I can remember, he was always glowing with happiness. But everything changed after one incident about a year ago. He didn't come home from work one night. At first, my mom and I thought that everything was ok. But he still hadn't shown up at nine o'clock that evening. That's when we began to call our friends and his colleagues. No one knew where dad could be. Then mom found dad's boss's phone number, and we called him. He surprised us a lot when he said that that day, my dad didn't show up at work, and didn't answer his phone calls. It was then that we really began to worry. What's happening? Where was he all day? We called the police, and two officers came to us and started asking us questions about my father. Soon afterward they found him. He was in the hospital, so my mother and I rushed there. When we got to the hospital and finally saw him, he was asleep. He was covered in scratches and bruises, there were pieces of glass in his clothes, and his shirt sleeve was almost torn off. The doctors said that he had a concussion and could have some sort of short-term memory loss. But everything else was fine. Officers said they found him outside the city. Looks like he was driving at a high speed, lost control, and his car ended up in a ditch. He was very lucky that he survived this accident. We spent the whole night in the hospital and when dad woke up we asked him what happened. And his answer shocked us: he said that he flew off the road because he was hit by another car. It was a serious allegation, so the police started an investigation. They came to our house a few times and asked a lot of questions. About a month later, they sent us a letter with their expert’s conclusion. According to this letter, the car didn`t have any traces of paint from another vehicle. To put it simply – no one had rammed my father's car. Dad was angry, he complained about the police inaction, and insisted that he was telling the truth. But my mom was upset. She believed the police and thought that my dad was lying and hiding something. Besides, where was he all day? Why didn't he go to work? To these questions he replied that he just didn't remember. So my parents sometimes fought about it. And I didn't know who was right. But I knew that dad was acting weird. He always covered the windows with curtains, his phone was often turned off. It seemed like… he was afraid of something, but he wouldn`t say what. In general, the atmosphere in the house was strange. But then something happened that really scared me. I was home after school doing my homework when I heard the front door slam loudly. I went down and saw my father. He looked scared – he had huge eyes and could barely breathe. When he caught his breath he finally said: "I saw her again, that car!" Then he ran up to the table and began to write something on a piece of paper. He tried to remember the car`s license plate number, but he couldn't. Dad was really worked up. He nervously walked around the house saying that mom will finally believe him now. But she didn't. After all, there was no evidence. So they just bickered again. And I can understand mom. Her husband is acting strange, obviously hiding something. Of course, she didn`t believe his words. Since then, dad has spent a lot of time on the computer. He was googling something, printing some articles. In the garage he hung up a board, where he attached various photos and documents. He even installed security cameras around the house! Apparently, he was determined to prove to me and my mom that he was right. It looked more like paranoia, but this is my dad – he always goes all out. And so we lived like this for two months. In the evenings, dad sat in the garage and watched the video from the cameras. I kept hoping dad would admit that he was wrong, or finally tell us why he didn`t go to work that day. Music by Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com #actuallyhappened

I Wish I Never Opened My Stepmoms Laptop
I Wish I Never Opened My Stepmoms Laptop

by My Story Ani...

I was always a daddy’s girl growing up. My dad and I did everything together, but it got me to end up calling a stranger to our home just to get back at my stepmother!   I can't remember exactly how my family imploded, but My mom found out my dad was having an affair with this woman, Helen. Then my dad left my mom for Helen. Then, worst of all, he proposed to Helen—before the divorce was even finalized! I was devastated. I knew I would never really trust my father again. I convinced myself that Helen had manipulated my dad—he never would have done this to my mom and me if she hadn’t sunk her claws into him. I hated her with every fiber of my being.   I looked forward to the moment my dad would ask me to live with him after the divorce. I imagined all the ways I would tell him NO—that he was a liar, and I wouldn’t live with him for a million dollars. But he never asked, just accepted a custody deal where he got me every other weekend. I was stunned, and so hurt. He didn’t even want me? He would rather have Helen than his own daughter?      My first few visits to his new house were awful. Being in the same room as Helen made me see red. She was loud, annoying, and took up all my dad’s attention. She would talk about all the bad Tinder dates she’d been on before she’d finally met my dad at the grocery store—like meeting a married guy and stealing him away from his family was cute. I wanted to find a way to get my dad to break up with her, and go back to being my dad.    I was talking to my friend about the situation, and she had a great idea. She said I should reactivate Helen’s tinder profile and convince my dad she was unfaithful. That seemed like a great way both to get back at my dad, and to get Helen out of the picture!   Getting into Helen's Tinder account wasn't hard. I knew her email, and she's the kind of person who uses the word “password” as her password. I made a few updates to her profile, posted some new pictures, and voila—within minutes she was getting messages from guys. Which I replied to.   There was one guy, Bill, who really took a shining to “Helen.” I thought it was hilarious to flirt with him. He lived alone and seemed like a total weirdo. He wanted to meet in person, but I kept telling him I wasn’t ready yet. He said he understood, and he kept pouring his soul out to me. He said he felt like we were soulmates. I tried not to crack up. I felt like a spy!   My friend asked why I kept checking my phone at lunch. I told her I was Tinder flirting with Bill. She was like, “okay, but weren't you just going to use this as a way to get your dad to break up with Helen? I mean, technically now you're catfishing.”   “It was your idea!” I told her, a little hurt.   “I know,” she said, “but you seem to be taking it really far.”   Whatever. I loved this. Soon, I would make sure to leave “Helen’s” Tinder profile on the computer for my dad to discover. But one day, I logged on and I had a new message from Bill: if I don't meet you in person, I'm going to die, he said.   I messaged back trying to make light of it, saying that I really needed to get to know somebody before I met with them.   He replied: I'm across the street from you right now, lol.   I freaked out! Was he serious? What are you talking about? I asked. He said, I did some research and I figured out where you live. Don't be afraid of your feelings, Helen. I need to see your beautiful face in person.   Then I really freaked. Was he a serial killer? What had I done? And how was I going to fix this without my dad finding out? I peeked out the window—there was a car idling across the street!   Heart pounding, I messaged Bill that I didn’t want to talk anymore.   If you break up with me, he wrote back, I'll hurt myself.   He couldn't be serious! We didn't even know each other. We weren't dating. We’d never even met in person! But I realized that this guy was actually crazy enough to do something terrible.   I thought about calling my friend and asking advice, but I was still kind of hurt by her accusing me of catfishing.   Bill said, I'm going to come to your door, unless you tell me not to. But if you tell me not to, maybe life is not worth living.   I told myself to just tell him not to. His mental illness was not my problem. But what if you really did something to himself? And all because I had played a prank on him?   It's over, I wrote. Don't contact me again.   Too late, he answered.   I started having a panic attack. My dad came in and found me shaking and in tears, and asked what was wrong. I didn't want to tell him, but somehow the whole story came pouring out. He immediately went outside. I went to the window, and saw him beside the car parked on the street. He was shouting at the driver, then trying to reach into the window. The car sped off, tires squealing.

My Parents New RELIGION FORBIDS ME To Go To SCHOOL And Communicate With Peers
My Parents New RELIGION FORBIDS ME To Go To SCHOOL And Communicate With Peers

by Life Story A...

Hi guys. This is Amelia's story. She is 14 years old. She will share with you her story about how her parents "went crazy", if she may say so. And how they forbid her to go to school and communicate with peers. "I live with my mom and dad. Dad worked all his life as a manager in one of the best firms in our city. My mother used to be a nurse, and after my birth she became a housewife. We were always the most usual family, until something that turned my life upside down happened: I was forbidden to go to school and communicate with friends. It all started half a year ago. My parents went on a two-week trip to some little-known country in Asia. Since my grandmother lives very far away, they decided to leave me with family friends during this time. We have been friends with my father’s colleague for a long time. His daughters Emily and Sofia are about the same age as me. It’s only a pity that we study in different schools. Nevertheless, the girls and I had a great time. I didn’t have time to really miss my parents. Two weeks later mom and dad returned completely different people. They were somehow too reserved, stopped joking (although they were always very funny). I thought that they were just tired of the road and in the morning everything will be as before. The next day, as usual, I got ready for school - I put on my usual school uniform. Seeing me already near the exit, my father became furious and forced me to dressed into something decent. All week I was forced to walk in my mother’s floor-length gown. Classmates began to laugh at me. This is understandable, I looked comical in a dress with a long sleeve two sizes larger. I thought that I could leave my house in this creepy dress and change into uniform at school. But my mother took it from me and added that I would never wear this again. I spent the whole weekend with my parents in the church. So I was waiting for Monday more than ever to go to school and escape from all this. But I didn't go to school. In the morning my parents told me that they decided to transfer me to home schooling, since school and communication with peers have a bad influence on me. It was unclear what kind of bad influence it was. Because I studied "excellently", never got involved with bad companies and was always one of the best in the class. I wanted to call my grandmother and tell about everything that was going on at our place. But for several days now I just couldn't get through to her. Then I thought to call the class teacher and ask to come to our house to talk with parents about the importance of school education and communication with peers. Dad saw me calling somewhere and took my mobile phone. I couldn't even write to one of my friends on Facebook because my parents stopped paying for the Internet. Why do you think none of my friends or classmates came to my house to inquire where I am? Emily and Sofia were the first to come, but mom drove them away and told them to never come again. Classmates didn't come, because, as it turned out later, my parents took my documents from school, saying that we were leaving for another city. No, we haven’t gone anywhere. Although sometimes I had the feeling that I was living on a desert island because I was cut off from the outside world. The only place I visited was the church. Once I even tried to escape, but nothing came of it. On the contrary, I was terribly punished. Dad made me memorize ten pages of religious sermon. Having said that it will distract me from bad thoughts. For half a year now I haven't seen any of my friends and haven't been anywhere. I'm terribly scared and lonely. I became afraid of my own parents and I just don’t know what to do. It seems to me that a little more and I'll lose my mind. I have tried several times to talk with mom and dad, but they are adamant".
