D1 Feminine ALL Alex Morgan Highlights OLF V Juvisy FC Feminin Juvisy Essonne 5 2 Win 2 12 17
This footage is a self-made compilation of ALL Alex Morgan Highlights (touches, runs, shots, shots on goal, etc.) from locker room pre-game, first half sideline cameos and her 2nd half play in her third Division 1 Feminine French League match, the first home match held at the club’s main stadium Parc OL, against FC Feminin Juvisy Essonne ("Juvisy") on February 12th, 2017. Lyon won handily 5-2, although it was the first match the USWNTer, Orlando Pride Captain and now Olympique Lyonnais striker had been a part of in which the OLF defense allowed any goals against. Morgan did not start the match and, rather, was subbed on at halftime, coming in for Norwegian International, Ada Hegerberg. Alex had some good looks on goal but was again unable to find the back of the net yet again. Notable moments include: the 71st minute, when Bremer found an unmarked Morgan in the box. Somehow, Alex missed an open goal as the ball struck her knee and hit the post before being cleared by the Juvisy defenders. Six minutes later, it was the crossbar that denied Morgan this time as she latched onto a pass by Kumagai before firing from a tight angle. The ball bounced off the crossbar and German International, Dzsenifer Marozsán proceeded to send the follow-up high into the stands. OLF’s next match is set for three days later on Wednesday, February 15th, 2017 when the two teams will meet once again, this time at Robert Bobin Stadium in Bondoufle, in a match that has been postponed twice. Initially scheduled for early December, it was put off for the first time at the request of Juvisy, which had three players at the U20 World Cup at the time. Then rescheduled for Wednesday, February 1st, 2017, the match was once again delayed as OLF were preparing to take the train towards Paris, when Juvisy announced in a communiqué that the meeting scheduled for that day at the Stade Maquin could not be held due to a municipal stop with the playing ground being seriously deteriorated.
