Hi, this is Michelle, and this story literally happened yesterday. There’s so much to talk about from last night that she’s not really sure where to start. In brief, she was betrayed by her best friend and she almost died, and both these things happened within fifteen minutes of each other. It all started as a truth or dare game.

Michelle has a group of friends that she’s known since they were all about five years old. There are six of them, all girls, and they’re fourteen now. Actually, a couple of them have already turned fifteen. She won’t bother going through all their names, since she would have to change them anyway to tell this story, but the important thing is that out of all of them her best friend is called Lana. Though she should probably say she HAD a best friend.

Anyway, Michelle and Lana live close to each other, so they’ve always seen each other more often than the others. Over the years, they’ve grown really close, so basically she knows a lot about Michelle and vice versa…or so Michelle thought. Bear in mind also that Michelle is a really, really private person, and she hates telling people personal things, although Lana was an exception. And there are a lot of things about her that even she doesn’t know either.

But nevermind about all that – let’s stick to the story.

Last night, they had a sleepover at Lana’s. Her parents are away on vacation, and they have no problem leaving the whole house to Lana to look after. She’s never caused them any trouble when they’ve gone away in the past, but Michelle can only imagine the looks on their faces when they come back and hear what just happened.

So five of them came over to Lana's for the sleepover, because one of their friends – let’s call her Judy – got sick. It wasn’t the first time they spent the night at Lana’s, and Michelle herself went over to hang out even more often than the others, since she only lives like, two houses away.

So last night, they first decided to watch a movie, then they cooked dinner together – two of their friends love cooking. After that they decided that they wanted to play something, and someone suggested “Truth or Dare,” the classic sleepover game.

As a very private person, Michelle really hates this game, because she has to pick dare all the time. The idea of telling any secret, even to a group of close friends, is just terrifying for her.

It was okay at the start – there was nothing but harmless questions and easy tasks. Like singing a stupid song, or calling Judy to convince her Ed Sheeran was at the house with them on a surprise visit…it sure sounds dumb now, but shemanaged to sound dead serious, and Judy almost believed her! But the girls spoiled everything when they started laughing, they just couldn’t keep it in anymore.

One thing though, before she moves on to the main part of the story. Lana and Michelle have a classmate called Josh. Josh Hurley, that’s what she’ll call him here. And…thank god this is anonymous…she really, really likes him. He’s justamazing. And he lives right across the street from Lana.

They talk at school every once in a while, but it never goes further than that. Michelle believes it really could go further, but he doesn’t know anything about how she feels. No one does – except for Lana.

So there they were playing, and it was Michelle’s turn again, and of course she picked dare rather than truth. The girls were struggling to come up with a task for her, but after a few minutes Lana said that she had a great idea.

She said that Michelle had to get on the roof of her house and shout “I LOVE YOU JOSH HURLEY!” three times, as loud as she could.

Michelle still can’t believe she said it. Lana knew that she liked Josh, and she knew there was a big chance he’d hear about it sooner or later, and she knew just how embarrassed Michelle wouldbe if she told anyone else.

But at that moment she simply thought: a game is a game, let’s just get it over with. She climbed onto the roof through the bedroom window, and found a spot that looked like it was safe. It was almost midnight, so it was really dark. The girls were all standing at the window ready to film the whole thing.

Just to remind you, the phrase she had to say was “I love you, Josh Hurley.” She shouted it once, dying of embarrassment, then a second time. All of the lights in Josh’s house were off, so she was praying nobody was home. Because if they were, the whole family was going to be woken up by her yelling.

The girls were laughing and cheering. She really wanted it to be over, so she took a deep breath and shouted it out for a third time.

★ DO YOU WANT TO GET YOUR STORY ANIMATED? SEND IT TO [email protected] IT WILL BE GIVEN A VOICE OVER BY A PROFESSIONAL ACTOR AND AN ANIMATOR WILL MAKE A VIDEO OUT OF IT! ★ Subscribe ACTUALLY HAPPENED https://bit.ly/2J5HP7j Hi everyone! I know I have to introduce myself first here, but unfortunately I can’t. You’ll learn why in the next few minutes. More than that, there are plenty of details in this story that will have to remain secret for safety reasons. I should probably not even tell the story in the first place, but it has all been so hard over the last few weeks, that I just need to get it off my chest. Flashback – two years ago. I’m a regular 14-year-old with no bigger problem than stress at school or being bored on the weekends. I have several really good friends, no enemies, and a great family. It’s just my parents and I. I’ve always known that my dad had something to do with finance, economics and, well... stuff like that. I wasn't that interested, to be honest, I thought it was a regular day job, like most of the other dads have. So I didn't get too suspicious when a couple of men in suits appeared at our house to talk with my dad, who seemed puzzled. But it was hard not to notice that something was wrong when the next time they came… they took my dad with them. Again, I’m sorry I can’t get into details, but the story was that my dad, who had never been any kind of gangster or anything, was involved in a crime. So that night he was basically arrested. He came back pretty soon afterward, because, as I learned later, he had agreed to help in an investigation and… he was now a witness. And apparently he was in danger. I never asked about who these people were that could put us in danger, because I didn’t really wanna know much about what my dad was up to. It’s all over now, and that’s the only thing that matters. Long story short, our family was going to be a part of the witness protection program. And that was when the nightmare started. The first part of us getting into it was not that exciting. We stayed at our house, but there was always a police car outside for our safety. I couldn’t really walk anywhere on my own anymore – I was taken to school and then back home, and basically stayed inside for the rest of the day. I could still visit my friends every once in a while, but I had to keep my mouth shut about the program of course. So, life got more stressful, but compared to what was waiting ahead, it was all no big deal. I did not know it at that time, but while this was happening, things were being prepared to move us to a different part of the country. So imagine how shocked I was to learn one morning that I had to pack my things (only the essentials) because we were leaving that same night! I guess the officials advised my parents to not tell me anything in case I would not be able to keep it a secret. Anyway, at 2 in the morning we got into a van and never looked back. The driver was a man I did not know, who kept silent the whole time, and our coordinator was also with us, in the front seat. We drove for the whole night and then for the next day rarely making any stops. Finally we arrived to a town I had never even heard of before. The house was ready for us, and you could tell that everything was hastily arranged. Everything we needed for life was there but… it was not "home" at all. It was a living space. But it was still okay. I was so exhausted I didn’t care, all I needed was a shower and a bed. And over the next couple of days, I learned how our life was going to change. I… I don’t even know where to start. What we got was basically a new life. We were allowed to keep our first names, but we got a new last name, my dad got a job as an accountant at a fairly small, local company, and I got a place at a new school. Now we had to learn the legend about why we moved to this part of the country, where we used to live, and what my family had done for all these years. And while this was all a little exciting, it was also frightening. It took me several weeks to get used to my new last name, and a couple of times I almost said the old one out loud in class. One of the last things our coordinator told me (he instructed each of us personally) was that the danger was so serious, everyone in our hometown had to think we were dead. So we had to cut all of our ties with friends and relatives. Now, that part was a total shock. A little later I learned that there was even a news story about the three of us dying in a car crash. And local police confirmed it. That meant A LOT of things, but the most shocking one to me was that all my friends now basically thought I was dead, and that I could never (literally - never) see them, text them, or talk to them again. A short time ago Megan’s family moved into a new house. Well, it wasn't exactly new, but it was very spacious. It might've looked like an old shack with spiderwebs and ghosts in the attic but she and her parents had a plan for how to make it look great both inside and out. Among all their other ideas, they decided to turn their backyard into a beautiful garden. While her parents were working on the inside of the house, Megan started the gardening project by doing the most important thing – creating a garden bed. She was so happy to be out there working, but after digging only a few feet into the ground her shovel suddenly hit something hard. Her heart started beating faster with anticipation. What if she’d just found a skull? It did actually turn out to be a metal case, but there was no gold in it. Just an old watch with a near disintegrated white leather strap and Mickey Mouse on the watch-face, a round tin can with celluloid film inside, and a note. Being careful not to harm the film, she set it aside and opened the note. It was written by someone named Darla. She wished whoever found this treasure all the best, and hoped that when it was found the world would still be a prosperous place, and people would have already figured out how to fly to the stars. She also enclosed a gift – her favorite wrist-watch. The note was dated 1958. The note didn’t say what was on the film, so Megan was very eager to find out. She couldn't stop thinking about it, right up to the moment when she finally found a film projector available to buy online. She also spent some time studying how to play an old movie without ruining the film. This whole experience turned out to be an interesting adventure. And so the moment finally came when Megan was able to watch the three-minute movie, which consisted of just a few scenes. She saw her new house when it was a newly-built cottage. There was a view of the street, where she recognized a few of the then much younger trees, fully grown by now. To her surprise the area looked like it hadn’t really changed much over the past 60 years. The cars, however, were totally different. The last shot was of a pretty girl smiling and waving at the camera, with their house in the background. Megan assumed it was Darla… And she wanted to know more about her. She must be over 70 years old by now, she thought. The first thing she did was to ask all their neighbors. Unfortunately, none of them had lived there 60 years ago, so they knew nothing about Darla. Then Megan went to the city archives. She didn’t learn much, but she did find a record about the family that lived at their address in 1958. The last name on there was at least a starting point! Megan kept investigating and finally came across a phone number. When she called, a grown-up male voice answered the phone. She told him that she currently lived at the house where his family used to live, and asked him if he knew a Darla. “That's my grandma but she's losing her memory and for the last few years she's lived in a nursing home.” The conversation made her feel really sad. In the film she had seen a young girl, smiling and full of life and energy, and it felt strange to realize that now she had grown old and even lost her memory. She decided to visit her anyway. She went to the nursing home where Darla lived, and told the staff there who she was and what she had found. They didn’t object to her meeting Darla and showing her the things she had left in the box half a century ago. A nurse showed her the way to Darla’s room. The door opened and Megan saw a nice old lady in her seventies, wrapped up in a warm checkered plaid blanket. She was confused when she saw her, for some reason deciding that she was her great-granddaughter. Megan neither contradicted nor confirmed her thoughts. She just sat close to her and showed her the case that she had dug out of the garden with all the things inside. Darla thoughtfully twirled her old wrist watch in her hands while Megan played her the video from the old celluloid that she had shot on her smartphone's camera. Believe it or not, the old lady remembered recording it! She didn’t realize who Megan was, but she recalled with confidence her idea to leave a “time capsule” for people from the future. Megan listened to her memories about that day in particular and about life in general – what things were like 60 years before. It was certainly an interesting experience to see how people perceived the future over half a century ago! Music by Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com

My Friends Were With Me For My Money
My Friends Were With Me For My Money

★ Subscribe ACTUALLY HAPPENED https://bit.ly/2J5HP7j This is Britney. She’s a lucky person – she comes from a very wealthy family. But she’s not here to boast. Unfortunately, everyone has their problems, and hers are no less significant than anyone else’s. Her biggest problem is finding friends, and this is the reason why. Britney doesn’t think that she’s arrogant, or a snob, or whatever it is that people think about kids from rich families. Her dad is a very simple person, a self-made-man, and he wants his children to work their own way through life too. That doesn’t mean that they have strict limitations on using money – his belief is that they need to invest their time and effort in studying, and should work like everyone else who is not as lucky as they are. That’s why they have always lived a pretty simple life – not in some mansion, but in an ordinary house. Their dad also insisted that they go to an ordinary school, not some fancy private one. When Britney was a child, she didn’t even notice the difference between herself and other children. They all shared the same studies and hobbies. She’s a very sociable person, so she didn’t have problems finding friends. But when she became a teenager and went to high school, she noticed that things had changed. Everyone was divided into groups and ranks – it was not just one big group of children anymore. She didn’t like the idea of classifying people, but you have to adapt in order to enjoy life. Since she is quite easy-going, she ended up in the “celeb” group. This wasn’t her goal, of course, but she was at a new school and she just wanted to make friends. They came to her and proposed that she hang out with them – why would she say no? They seemed like really nice people. They chatted a lot about designer clothes and gadgets, and all the other things that are trendy nowadays. This was when she found out that they had somehow already learned about who she was and what family she was from – and Britney began to have doubts. She’s not a fool, and she understands that sometimes people can be guided by self-interest when choosing friends. She started watching her new friends attentively. Her dad had taught her that you should always check people out before trusting them, even if she had never been in a situation where she’d been right to mistrust people before. But everything seemed okay. It was quite a large group of people – there were eight of them – and they all had different backgrounds. They were regular people with different personalities – that’s ok then, she thought. They spent a lot of time together, and met outside school as well, and as time passed she didn’t notice any particular interest in her family’s wealth. When things started changing, she didn’t even notice at first. From time to time when they went out, one or two of her friends asked her to pay for their movie tickets or a coffee, and promised to give back the money. They never gave it back, and she thought it was a bit petty to remind them. Then...their ‘appetites’ started growing. Sometimes they asked her to pay for a round of bowling or a coffee for everyone. She didn’t think it was fair, but they were her friends and she thought it was shameful to quarrel over money. Britney became irritated by the situation, and started thinking: “What if they made friends with me only because of my money? What if they don’t even really like me?” At some point, thinking these kinds of thoughts over again and again leads you to paranoia. She wanted to check if they really liked just her money or her. She already had trust issues, and thought that it would be better to be alone than with friends like that. So one day she met up with them and pretended to be all sad, saying that they had financial problems at home – that her dad had lost his business and that he had cut her pocket money drastically. She saw them exchange glances but they didn’t say anything. Everything continued as normal and she had already begun to calm down, but when they decided to go to the cinema, she asked someone to pay for her. “I’m broke”, she said, “sorry guys, I’ll give it back as soon as I can”. They exchanged glances again. Then one of her supposed friends said: “Look, we’re not as rich as you are and we can’t sponsor you, sorry. Maybe it’d be better if you go another time”. That was it. Now she knew! How could she even think that someone could be disinterested in her family’s money! She was staring at their backs as they were walking away feeling so disappointed, and she didn’t notice that Lea was still standing by her side. She asked if Britney needed help. “Do you need to talk? I understand it can be hard”. She offered to pay for her as they went to get a coffee. She thanked Lea from the bottom of her heart, because she had restored her faith in people. They’ve been best friends ever since, and she never went back to the ‘celeb’ group.

His family, his studies, everything...and all of it happened just because he helped his father at his work. He wishes now that he could just travel back in time or erase what he found out about him from his memory. It was hard to find anyone who didn’t admire Evan’s father. Everyone did. His mother, Evan himself, his colleagues and partners. You see, he was a rich businessman with his own company. But he started from NOTHING. So of course, it’s hard NOT to admire a man who achieved everything on his own and still managed to be a loving husband and father. And he totally wanted to be like him. Evan didn’t want to take what he had for granted; he wanted to be as hard-working as his dad was. And his parents knew this. So his mom came up with the idea of asking his dad to let him be an unpaid intern at his company during the summer, to learn the ropes. Evan loved the idea, and he thought his dad would love it too. But he turned out to be so...hesitant about it. Like, he said that he wasn’t sure if Evan would be needed there and said that he should enjoy his life while he’s still young. Anyway, he and his mom finally persuaded his dad to let him be an intern, and he worked very hard to help with everything he could. And soon, everyone at the office started to like him so much, saying how much he resembled his father with his industriousness. And he could see that his father was very proud of him. “I passed the test!” he thought to himself, and it made him work even harder. He knew that he was working for his own future. But...soon something happened. You see, his father was very strict about separating his career and his personal life. He would never talk about his work while at home, because he was fully concentrating on his family, being a perfect father and a perfect husband. One day his father went out to some meeting, and he was supposed to take Evan home that day. Evan thought he was busy, so he decided to just wait for him in his office, since it was unlocked and he had been in there many times before. While he was waiting there, the phone rang. It was in his desk drawer, so he decided to ignore it. But it kept calling again and again, like every 3 minutes, and he got tired of it, so he decided to answer and to say that his dad was away, thinking that maybe it was his mom. He opened the drawer and looked at the phone, and it was...weird. You see, his father had two phones. One was his personal phone, and the other his work phone. And this phone...well, Evan had never seen that one before. He answered the phone and a woman’s voice said: “Hey...want to come over today, darling?” He quickly turned the phone off. It wasn’t his mom. He didn’t know what to do or think, so he just left the office and never came back. His mom tried to ask him what had happened, but he just couldn’t tell her. And he knew that his father knew, but he just acted like nothing happened. That was the reason he hadn’t wanted him to work for him… From that point on Evan avoided his parents as much as he could, because it was too painful for him to see them talking to each other and smiling. And he couldn’t just tell his mom, because he had found out about it by snooping around. He started to hate his dad, and even his mom for not seeing what was happening. One day, Evan’s mom confronted him for avoiding them and spending a lot of time out of the house. She probably thought that he’d picked up bad habits or something. He tried to explain, but she was worried about him, and started to check his bags and everything else for things like cigarettes. His dad just kept silent, because he knew what was really happening and why Evan was acting that way. But he didn’t say anything, and Evan could feel his respect for him dwindling away completely. He was so angry, so one day he just said: “ask DAD what's going on.” There was silence for a long time. Then they left and went into their room, and he had to listen to them shouting at each other for the whole night. And it was his fault, of course...was it bad that they were living a lie if they were happy? Then they tried to act normal, like nothing happened, but he saw how everything had changed. After a few months, his mom said that they were getting a divorce, and she didn’t really explain, because she knew that he knew. Now they live separately, and Evan lives with his mom, and she’s very unhappy. His dad called him recently and told him that he’d done the right thing by telling her the truth. He also said that he couldn’t work normally after the divorce and that he doesn’t know if he’ll be able to keep the company. Music by Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com #actuallyhappened

★ DO YOU WANT TO GET YOUR STORY ANIMATED? SEND IT TO [email protected] IT WILL BE GIVEN A VOICE OVER BY A PROFESSIONAL ACTOR AND AN ANIMATOR WILL MAKE A VIDEO OUT OF IT! ★ Subscribe ACTUALLY HAPPENED https://bit.ly/2J5HP7j This is Alan! You know what’s cooler than having a ton of money? Knowing how to make even more. And Alan knows how! You probably straight away think that he must be full of himself, so let him tell you his story. He’s 17 now, but this all happened when he was 12. So, Alan’s family is not very well off. They’re so poor that he wore the same shoes for an entire year, no matter whether it was raining or snowing. But those were good shoes; like, very durable ones. Like, they were the Iron Man of shoes – nothing could destroy them. They were much better than his brother’s, which made his feet hurt sometimes. But still, Alan’s shoes were veeery ugly, and he really wanted new ones. He dreamed of getting these sneakers that he’d seen once in a store. You may think that this was shallow – but remember that he was only 12 at the time. And in any case there was no way he could act on his wish to buy those shoes. He didn’t have any money! So you might think that he eventually gave up on the idea...but nope, not really. He started thinking that if he could just find a way of somehow making money, he could buy those shoes. And they weren’t cheap… His dad was always saying that he should study harder than he himself had, so that he could have a better life, and both Alan and his younger brother really took that advice to heart. He was a really diligent student and spent so much time studying. He got good grades but had no money, whereas plenty of his classmates got bad grades but had a lot of money. So Alan made them an offer – he would do their homework in exchange for money. Not a lot of money, but enough to save up and buy those sneakers after a couple of months. It was a pretty easy task for him, because basically, all he had to do was copy out his homework for them, changing it just a little so that nobody would know. He even had different prices for As, Bs, and other grades. And he also helped the older kids a little with some of their subjects – not like, math, but literature and history. Alan’s scheme went great at first, but then almost everybody stopped paying. He wondered why, and it turned out that they had made one guy pay and then copied his homework. He had to find a way to fix this, so he told them that if they were going do that, he would have to raise the price. They didn’t like that, but they also didn’t want to do their own homework, so they agreed and everything went back to normal. But then one of the guys wasn’t happy about it, and he actually revealed everything to the teacher. The teacher was very angry with Alan, and warned him that he had to stop doing it or else he and the other guys would have a lot of problems. So, he had to stop...but he still hadn't saved up enough to buy the sneakers he wanted. So of course, he came up with a new plan. Because many of the older kids now knew who he was, and their teachers didn’t know about his tricks, he asked them to give him cool stuff in exchange for their homework. You know – like toys, action figures, simple gadgets. He would then start playing with them in class, making it look like he was having a lot of fun. To be honest, it WAS fun. And, if someone asked him if they could play with something, he would say no, which made them want it more and more. Then at some point he would rent it to them or even sell it. Soon, he was buying stuff from the older kids and selling it for more money, instead of doing their homework. But of course, sooner or later their parents started to notice, and the teacher got angry with him again, saying that he was abusing the other children and it wasn’t okay. He disagreed, because they were very happy with all of it and henever like, forced them to buy anything. Eventually, he finally had enough money to buy the sneakers he had dreamed of for so long. So Alan bought them and went home. Finally, all his hard work had paid off, and even if he had found himself in a lot of trouble, he still ended up with what he wanted. Then he saw his brother’s shoes – they were in a way worse state than his, and he remembered how many times his brother had told him how much his feet hurt, and he was constantly sick because his shoes had a lot of holes in them and got wet every time he stepped in a puddle. So he gave the sneakers to his brother, and he was so happy and surprised. Honestly, it was much better to see his brother happy than to keep them for himself. His parents were angry at him at first, because they thought he had stolen them, but he then explained how he got them. And then they were proud of him because they thought he had done it all for his brother. He didn’t tell them that it had originally all been for himself, though. This is gonna be a story of my first love which is now a taboo subject in my family. Everything started a few months ago and it seems like I'm going to be disappointed, shocked, and frustrated for the rest of my life. I feel like I still love the guy and I deeply hate myself for it. Jackson moved to our town six months ago. He was born here actually, but when his mom died in a car accident many years ago, Jackson’s dad decided to get a fresh start in another city. They traveled through almost the whole country, when his dad’s job finally brought them back down here again. Anyway, soon afterward, he started going to our school and we became friends, but then we both agreed that we were attracted to each other in a romantic sense and decided to begin dating. Jackson’s cool, you know. He rides a motorcycle and looks really mysterious and wise. I mean, there was hardly any chance of me not falling in love with him. Once he had the idea to go their family’s lake house and spend the whole weekend there. We had not been dating for that long yet, and my parents actually had no idea that he had a motorcycle, otherwise they wouldn’t even let me talk to him, you know. That’s why I lied to them and told them that I was going to spend the weekend at my friend Angelica’s country house. I didn’t feel great about having lied to my parents. And I had a bit of an unpleasant feeling inside, even though I was pretty excited about spending two days with my love. That unpleasant and worrisome feeling began growing soon after Jackson and I set out for our top-secret trip. At first, we got a flat tire; then, while Jackson was trying to fix it, a huge truck passed by and sloshed us with water and mud. I thought that this had to be enough trouble for one day, but as they say, bad things come in threes, so when we finally arrived at the lake house, dirty and exhausted, it turned out that Jackson had taken the wrong set of keys. We had nothing to do but to break into the house, obviously damaging the lock. A couple of hours later when we had finally changed our clothes and ate our dinner, Jackson and I were sitting next to the fireplace looking through an old family album. He was telling me about his mom, showing me her photos, and I felt like even though he could barely remember her, he missed her a lot. Suddenly we came across a picture of Jackson’s young mom sitting next to… my young mom! I was so surprised that I even screamed. Jackson, on the other hand, didn't recognize the woman next to his mom, but when I told him who she actually was, he turned pale. We rushed to look through the rest of the photos and found another interesting picture. Even though this photo had been taken many years ago when I probably wasn’t even born yet, I could bet I knew that man. Even though he didn’t have a mustache and his hair was long, I was pretty sure this was my mom’s brother – my uncle Henry. Of course, I told Jackson this and he was no less surprised and confused than I was. We couldn’t wait until the morning to go back home and ask our parents about everything, so we just decided to return immediately that night. Jackson’s dad was out of town, so I had to be the first one to begin the investigation. Of course, I had to confess to my parents that I had lied to them. Because it was already 1 A.M. when I returned home, while they weren't expecting me until the next evening. Dad was already sleeping and the talk with my mom wasn’t nice at all. She didn’t want to hear any explanation for why I had lied to her and how come I’d even dared to date a guy with a motorcycle, so she’d severely grounded me for that. And when I showed her the pictures of these photos on my cell phone and explained everything to her, she looked like she had just seen a ghost. She yelled at me, and told me that I was no longer allowed to see Jackson and that he’d better stay out of our family. I was devastated and I didn’t understand anything. At first I thought that my mom didn’t mean it, about me not seeing Jackson at all, and that she was just disappointed in my lies. But the next day she literally wouldn’t let me out of the house, constantly asking me to do something for her. Then, when the week started and I had to go to school, I wasn’t really expecting that mom would ask dad to come and pick me after my classes. So I basically had no chance to hang out with Jackson and I was totally confused because nobody would explain anything to me. By the way, Jackson managed to ask his dad about these photos, but the information he’d gotten explained nothing. Music by Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com #actuallyhappened

I'm Hailey and I'm 13 years old. Since early childhood, we're all aware of what Good and Evil means. And I want to tell you a story about the darkest evil I have ever faced in my life. It all started after I had undergone heart surgery. I'd been waiting for that surgery since I was born and it went pretty well, so it was actually a very happy moment for me and a fresh start. I definitely needed a calm space to recover in, so my parents suggested that I spend my summer break at my aunt's farmhouse. Her family lived in a small, quaint town in California. I was really looking forward to that visit and I received a very warm welcome. My aunt is a nice woman who also has two children – Jemmie who is my age and little Luke. I thought we were going to have a lot of fun. But, I wasn't that lucky. At first, everything was perfect. Everybody was so happy for me and tried to help and encourage me. My uncle was very busy at work, and my aunt spent a lot of time with Luke, because he stuttered when he talked and she had to take him to speech therapy almost every day. So, I spent most of my time with Jemmie. My father used to say Jemmie was a golden child, his mother's first helper and his dad's right hand. And he has always been nice to me too. So, he showed me around the town and told me about his school. He was so self-confident and fearless. I admired him! He reminded me of Peter Pan, but then... I started noticing some strange things about him. He was so nice at home, but when we were alone he would complain about how annoying his little brother was and how stupid and useless his parents were all the time. I know all teenagers do that, but... One day we were passing by our neighbors' house and their dog started barking at us from behind the fence. The dog was big, so I got a little bit scared, but not Jemmie. He got closer to the fence, kneeled down, and started barking back at the dog and laughing hysterically! You probably could have taken it as an awkward joke, but I saw his face. He was so pleased that it seemed like there was nothing funnier in the world than to tease this dog. On the way back home he said: "Should we feed some arsenic to that dog tomorrow?" A nervous giggle was the only response I could muster. I was trying to persuade myself that there was nothing to worry about and decided not to bother my aunt with that story. But I couldn't stop thinking about it every day. A few days later when we were wandering around, Jemmie suddenly said: "Ugh, it's so boring! Do you want to have some real fun?" I was about to say no, when he grabbed my hand and dragged me somewhere away from home. We ran for a long time, but then he stopped. I was surprised, because we were standing on a small bridge over a highway, and I could only guess what "fun" we were supposed to have there. Jemmie opened his backpack and I saw that it was full of rocks, really big ones. And then I saw a van approaching us. He squeezed me and said happily: "Watch now!" Everything happened so fast... He threw one of his rocks and it didn't miss the van. The rock hit the windshield of the car. The driver hit the brakes and the car stopped. I heard a little baby cry. I was just standing there frozen, with my mouth wide open, unable to say a word. And Jemmie was laughing his head off! But then he whispered to me: "Run!" I had no idea what I was doing, I was running and I felt tears flowing down my face. Why didn't I do anything? It was like a horrible hypnosis! When we finally stopped, Jemmie asked me triumphantly: "How did you like the show? The show?! There were children in that car and they were probably hurt and scared, and he was calling it, ""A show!"" I told him he had gone absolutely crazy! I also said he had to tell his parents about what he had done or otherwise I would do it. But he remained calm, smiled evilly, and coldly replied: ""I didn't do it alone. You did it with me and didn't even try to stop me. Your mom and dad would love to hear that story."" I was just stunned. From that moment I had no doubt there was something completely wrong with Jemmie and I had to do something. I couldn't find the courage to speak to my aunt. Even if I did, she would never believe me, because Jemmie turned out to be a perfect actor. He's been playing the role of a good son for years. " "So, I started my own investigation. I had to find some proof of his deeds and expose him, but he was extremely careful. I followed my cousin's every step and noticed that he was spending two to three hours, typing something on his laptop every night. I had to know what was on that laptop, it was my only chance. But I would never be able to do it without a password. Music by Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com #actuallyhappened

My name is Tim and here`s my story. Actually, I think it`s pretty funny. Ok. So from the moment we moved into our new house, we waged a war with our neighbors. I don't think it will ever end. And, actually, I hope it never ends! `Cause it makes me really happy! It`s not a real war, we are just messing around with each other. Our neighbors are actually our best friends. Their son – Mike is my classmate and our parents have been friends since high school, and used to always make fun of each other. And now our pranks have reached a whole new level, and we participate in them with our whole family. For example, recently I bought a fake hand at a joke shop. We smeared it in ketchup, and threw it to the neighbor's dog. Imagine how they screamed when the dog brought it into their house! Of course, the next day they responded with another prank. We were watching a movie in the living room, and suddenly firecrackers began to shoot loudly from the fireplace. We were terrified, and we ran out from the house in a panic. And then we saw Mike and his parents laughing at us. Of course it was a joke. Somehow, they dropped firecrackers into our chimney with the help of a drone. Can you imagine? Awesome! Usually after these jokes we have a picnic or a party, where we can relax and have fun. This gives us the opportunity to feel like one big family. But a few days ago, the jokes crossed the line, and it stopped being funny. One evening we were sitting at home, having dinner. And suddenly we were interrupted by the loud sound of breaking glass, and then a big stone fell next to our table. We all froze for a second. Dad rushed to the window to see who could've thrown this. But it seems that the villain managed to escape or hide. I saw that the stone was wrapped in paper, so I picked it up and unfolded this "gift." There was a note on it. It said "I'm tired of your stupid jokes. One more, and you'll regret it." But this didn't make any sense! We didn't do anything worth breaking a window for! It was not funny! We took the stone and went to the neighbors. But when we asked why they did it, they denied it, and said they didn't do anything. Of course we didn't believe them. We had become accustomed to their pranks, and always suspected a trick. So at that moment, we thought, "Okay, you asked for it." And dad and I started thinking about a revenge plan. But we didn't even have time to do anything. `Cause the next morning, Mike`s father came to our house and started arguing with my dad. As it turns out, someone punctured the tires on his car, and he thought it was my dad. But he didn`t do it, so he became angry too! They began to argue, and it almost came to a fight. They both thought it was just a joke that had gone too far. It was the first time that I had seen them have a fight in my life. They were best friends, and then were somehow willing to almost come to blows with each other. The only thing I could think was that that`s not right, and that I had to figure out how to fix it. I decided to talk to Mike at school. He stood his ground and said his father was innocent. And so did I. Okay, but then who had done all of this? To get our dads back on speaking terms, we had to find the real culprit. So we decided to install a couple of cameras, in case this joker wanted to do another prank. You won't believe it, but the cameras came in handy the very next day. It was an ordinary morning and my dad was getting ready to go to work. But as soon as he crossed the threshold, we heard a rumbling and screams. Then we heard dad cursing. We quickly ran out to the porch, and saw that dad had fallen through the boards. This was getting crazy! He could have broken something. Our neighbors also heard the noise, and came out to see what had happened. And when dad saw them, he got really angry. He got on his feet, and started running toward them, shouting and threatening them. We could barely calm him down, and we told him that whoever did this, had definitely gotten caught on camera. And here it was - the moment of truth. We turned on the tape, and around 4 a. m. we saw a man on our porch. He was fumbling with a screwdriver. Finally, he got up and we recognized him immediately - it was a man from the house on the other side of the street. It looks like he had unscrewed the screws that held the boards together on the porch. So when dad came out, he fell through them. And thank God dad didn't hurt himself. Okay, so we found out the identity of this wicked prankster. The only thing left to do was to punish him for everything. And we were going to do it in our own way. So we came up with a whole plan...
