Dabang Delhi K.C. on the other hand were seeing all their raiders in fine form as Naveen Kumar got a Super 10 while Meraj Sheykh and Chandran Ranjit got 9 and 8 raid points respectively. Joginder Narwal also played an important role as he got 5 tackle points which included 2 successful Super Tackles on Deepak Hooda when only 2 men were left on the mat. [Video Courtesy: Star Sports] Dabang Delhi K.C.’s record performance downs Puneri Paltan Dabang Delhi K.C. scored the most points by a team in vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 7 so far on the way to defeating Puneri Paltan 60-40. Dabang Delhi K.C. put in a dominant raiding display against Puneri Paltan to win 60-40 at the Tau Devilal Sports Complex in Panchkula on Sunday. Naveen Kumar put in his career-best raiding display and finished with 19 raid points, while Chandran Ranjit also brought up a Super 10. Naveen Kumar’s two-point raid gave Dabang Delhi K.C. an ideal start. Puneri Paltan were unable to tackle Naveen and Chandran Ranjit for the first six minutes of the contest as the raiders picked up points regularly and eventually helped their team inflict an All Out to take a huge 8-point lead early in the match. Ranjit was finally tackled by Sandeep in the 7th minute but by then the Dabang Delhi K.C. defence had found their footing and managed to revive him immediately through Joginder Singh’s tackle on Manjeet. A Super Tackle on Naveen was also answered by Anil Kumar’s successful tackle on Nitin Tomar to revive the raider and he put in successive two-point raids to inflict another All Out on Puneri Paltan. Tomar found some success on both sides of the mat for Puneri Paltan but Naveen kept up his good work to bring up his 17th successive Super 10. Manjeet’s two-point raid and Balasaheb Jadhav’s tackle on Naveen gave Puneri Paltan some momentum going into halftime as they trailed Dabang Delhi K.C. 16-30. Manjeet and Amit Kumar’s raids brought a bit of success for Puneri Paltan early in the second period but Dabang Delhi K.C.’s raiding trio of Naveen, Chandran Ranjit and Vijay soon reduced them to three men on the mat. Ranjit also reached his Super 10 in this period. Super Tackles on Vijay and Ranjit kept the All Out at bay for Puneri Paltan but it was eventually inflicted in the 10th minute to give Dabang Delhi K.C. a 19-point lead with 10 minutes still to play in the match. Ranjit and Naveen continued their good work and Ravinder Pahal brought up his High 5 with a tackle on Emad Sedaghatnia to help Dabang Delhi K.C. cross the 50-point mark in the match. Dabang Delhi K.C. chose to test out their bench players towards the end of the match but Puneri Paltan were unable to stop them from reaching the 60-point mark before the full-time whistle, making them the first team to get there this season. The win assured Dabang Delhi K.C. of a Top 2 finish and all but ended Puneri Paltan’s hopes of finding a place in the playoffs. [Video Courtesy: Star Sports] Dabang Delhi K.C. rise to league summit after beating U.P. Yoddha Dabang Delhi K.C. rose to the summit of the vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 7 standings with a 36-27 win over U.P. Yoddha at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex in Delhi on Sunday. Naveen Kumarfinished the game with a whopping 16 raid points, while Ravinder Pahal registered a High 5. U.P. Yoddha started strongly and took an early 4-0 lead. But Naveen ensured that they didn’t open up a big lead with a couple of swift raids. Naveen, in fact, was proving to be the most difficult player for the visitors to contain and, along with Pahal, accounted for most of Dabang Delhi K.C.’s points in the first half. As the half wore on, U.P. Yoddha found containing Naveen increasingly difficult. The Dabang Delhi K.C. youngster’s efficiency while raiding helped enforce an All-Out on U.P. Yoddha with a little less than two minutes left in the half. The home side then finished the half strongly and went into the break with a 15-11 lead. The second period saw Dabang Delhi K.C. build on their lead in the first 10 minutes with a few more successful raids from Naveen and decisive tackles from their defenders. U.P. Yoddha, though, weren’t about to go down without a fight and tried to forge a comeback. They were chipping away at Dabang Delhi K.C.’s lead, but a successful Do-or-Die raid by Chandran Ranjit at a pivotal juncture changed the momentum. Naveen completed his seventh Super 10 moments later and then helped inflict a second All-Out on U.P. Yoddha with a little over four minutes left to play. With a 30-19 lead to protect in the closing stages, it looked as though the game was in the bag for Dabang Delhi K.C. But a four-point Super Raid by Rishank Devadiga changed all that and set up an interesting finish. However, just when it looked as though U.P. Yoddha were about to inflict an All-Out, Naveen came to the rescue for Dabang Delhi K.C. yet again with a two-point raid. His raid deflated the opposition and instilled confidence in his team as Dabang Delhi K.C. went on to register back-to-back wins at home.         Top Performers: Dabang Delhi K.C. – Best Raider – Naveen Kumar (16 Raid Points) Best Defender – Ravinder Pahal (5 Tackle Points) U.P. Yoddha – Best Raider – Monu Goyat (10 Raid Points) Best Defender – Sumit (3 Tackle Points) #VIVOProKabaddi #PKLhighlights #PKL2019 #IsseToughKuchNahi http://www.khelnow.com http://www.khelnowtv.com

[Video Courtesy: Star Sports] Naveen’s 13th straight Super 10 downs a spirited Gujarat Fortunegiants Gujarat Fortunegiants fought back valiantly from a 14-point deficit but couldn’t get the victory. A strong comeback in the second half from Gujarat Fortunegiants went in vain as Dabang Delhi K.C. beat the two-time finalists by a scoreline of 34-30 at the Shree Shiv, Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Mahalunge, Balewadi in Pune on Sunday. The league-leaders were off to a fine start and raced to a 4-1 lead courtesy of a raid point each from Vijay and Naveen Kumar and a couple of tackle points from Ravinder Pahal. However, a technical Super Tackle and a tackle point from Ruturaj Koravi levelled the scores at 4-all. Tackles from Vishal Mane and Joginder Narwal reduced Gujarat Fortunegiants back down to three on the mat and Naveen took care of all three in a five-point Super Raid to inflict an All-Out and give Dabang Delhi K.C. a seven-point lead. The game was evenly contested over for the next few minutes, with both teams adding three points each to the scoreboard, before Naveen’s tackle started another good spell for the table-toppers with a tackle on Rohit Gulia. Chandran Ranjit’s touch point on Parvesh Bhainswal reduced Gujarat Fortunegiants down to three and in the final raid of the half, Naveen scored two more touch points to extend his team’s lead to 11. In the very first raid of the second half, Dabang Delhi K.C. inflicted a second All-Out to take a 23-9 lead in the contest. The next seven minutes belonged to Gujarat Fortunegiants as they enjoyed their strongest spell of the match. It started with Gulia’s two-point raid followed by Pankaj’s tackle on Naveen which cut the deficit to 11. Sachin’s touch point followed by a self-out for Ranjit reduced Dabang Delhi K.C. to just two men on the mat. Gulia made short work of the two defenders on the mat, getting a touch on both and inflicted an All-Out. Gulia and Pankaj added two more points to their team’s total as Gujarat Fortunegiants cut Dabang Delhi K.C.’s lead to two. With under four minutes left on the clock, the difference between the two sides remained at two, however, Naveen’s 10th raid point of the night and Joginder Narwal’s successful tackle gave them a four-point cushion. A self-out by Gulia and a strong dash on Sachin by Vishal Mane in the final minute extended Dabang Delhi K.C.’s lead to six. Gujarat Fortunegiants finished the contest with two successive points, but it meant little as Dabang Delhi K.C. ran victors by four points. Top Performers: Dabang Delhi K.C. However, Bengaluru Bulls’ resistance ended in the 18th minute as Patna Pirates inflicted the first All-Out of the match and took a 14-11 lead. The second half got underway with Maghsoudlou scoring the first point of the half for Patna Pirates while raiding. Pro Kabaddi 2019 Highlights Telugu Titans Vs Dabang Delhi M94

by Khel Now TV

[Video Courtesy: Star Sports] Naveen stars again as Dabang Delhi K.C. outshine Telugu Titans Siddharth Desai’s Super 10 wasn’t enough for Telugu Titans as they went down to Dabang Delhi K.C., pillared by Naveen Kumar’s 14th successive Super 10 and a calculative defence, by a scoreline of 29-37 at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Mahalunge, Balewadi in Pune on Monday. Desai got Telugu Titans off the mark in the match and handed his team an early lead against the league toppers. It looked like Dabang Delhi K.C.’s offence would be contained on the night after Naveen was kept in check early in the game, that included a Super Tackle from Rakesh Gowda that kept Telugu Titans ahead. Naveen was the subject of another Super Tackle minutes later at the hands of Abozar Mighani that extended Telugu Titans’ advantage to four. But then Dabang Delhi. K.C. came together, led by a two-point raid from Naveen Kumar, and a solid combined defence that inflicted the first All Out of the match on Telugu Titans. The two teams then exchanged points leading up to the half - highlighted by another Naveen two-pointer, that included a bonus, and a Farhad Milaghardan raid that got Ravinder Pahal and Joginder Narwal out - with the home team leading 18-15. At the restart, the two teams continued to play on par but Dabang Delhi K.C. edged further as the clock ticked away. With a combination of Naveen’s raids and timely contribution from the defence, Dabang Delhi K.C. scored seven unanswered points that saw Telugu Titans All Out for the second time in the match. The score now read 29-18 with Telugu Titans trailing by 11 points. When the players reassembled, Telugu Titans went on the attack and added three straight points - that included Desai’s two successful raids - and got the deficit down to eight. However, the gap didn’t reduce any further as Naveen’s opportune raids added to Dabang Delhi K.C.’s tally and ballooned the gap to 11 again at 35-24 with just five minutes left. Desai added a couple of successful raids and Vishal Bhadwaj managed two tackles, but the gap proved just too much as Telugu Titans went down by eight points.
